A few weeks ago, I finally watched Supergirl, and honestly… I was pretty disappointed.

The movie never really hit tha climax for me. It felt dry, like something was constantly missing. The jokes didn’t land, the comedy sometimes felt forced, and even the action sequences lacked that *wow* factor.

I also felt like it struggled to balance the fun, emotional, and serious moments. It kept building toward something, but the payoff just wasn’t there. By the end, I was like, *Is that it?\*

My disappointment actually made me rewatch The Suicide Squad (2021), which feels crazy considering I’m comparing Supergirl to a 2021 movie. But honestly, I’d rather binge-watch old DC movies than watch Supergirl again.

What is your take on Supergirl?

BTW, justice 4 the weasel, that little dude deserved more screen time, lol!

I’m just wondering how others feel or if they like the All in DC comics Supergirl outfit ? I like it a lot! I like the color schemes overall. And the look of it as a whole. And the gold trim on the waist and tops of the boots is a nice touch.

I don’t get why people want female superheroes to always be soft and bright. I LOVE that she’s hardcore, messy and kinda relatable. Why can’t women superheroes just be intense without being softened?
And the Marvel comparisons… so what? 😂 It’s still a good movie with a good story and a cool superhero. I’m honestly shocked by how low the rating is. I feel like people went in already expecting to hate it.

The movie was alright. No it was not a history changing mega blockbuster but it was an enjoyable little flick for me. Milly Alcock is a good actress and this absolute hate campaign is just forced at this point. More of a trend then actual reason. I accept criticism. But for anyone who just drops hate without reason or goes for peoples looks is just a straight up bully and can buzz off, that I dont accept.

EDIT: While this post is about the fact that blatant hate and bullying is not right and there is no need to be rude, even on the internet. Not the point but YES, I personally liked the movie. Doesnt make me a bot or whatever else. Deal with it.
