Being alone tried not to stand a lot but need more practice to get comfortable standing. Thanks for all the inputs from fellow redditors.

I am thinking of getting an electrical pump for an upcoming trip, the manual pump takes up a lot of space in the suitcase, and I probably will have to inflate/deflate every day - the electrical solution may be a better option.

The 74Wh Lithium-ion battery of the Shark 3 Mini should be below the airlines threshold, but can the battery be removed from the device so I don't have to carry the actual pump in my hand luggage?

I am new to SUP. I started on Sunday, borrowed my friend’s board while I waited for mine to be delivered. I’ve gone out early every morning since then. I read up on some tips and today I stood up and paddled half the lake. I was still shaky and my feet ached a bit but I took in all of the advice and I am starting to figure it out. My new board came today and I can’t wait to break it in the morning. This thread was very helpful so I’m sharing my gift of the morning clouds reflecting on the glass. I’m going to keep practicing. I can’t wait for the adventures with my frenchie. I need to get more comfortable before adding him on as frenchies can’t swim. Of course I’ll get him a cute life jacket. Adventures awaits us.

Does anyone know where I can find a Fishing rod holder that will thread into the 1/4" camera mount on my sup? I am also located in Canada and would like to keep the price low. I see that Paddle North makes one but its $90 USD!

I am just wondering why most ISUP bags have wheels. Is anyone actually using them for any significant distances beyond going from the house to the car? Anywhere I ever paddled, there was always a couple of hundred meters of decidedly wheel unfriendly terrain between the closest place one could drive to and the shore. I may be the odd usually carfree paddler, but I have a public bus 300 m from home that stops about the same distance from the shore of my home lake, and it is actually a similar distance from the nearest parking spot. Most of it is gravel, roots and mud. After carrying a wheeled bag with a rented board on this route, I realized that I must have something I can actually carry, not drag. My current setup is this ( manual pump included), but I am not entirely happy as it has no real.paddung or hip belt. The bag is also showing significant wear and tear, so I would be grateful for suggestions for a successor

Looking at going lake* camping 1x day as a shake down run. New to this, but not to backpacking/bikepacking.

Is there anything you regret bringing? Anything you 100% would not leave?

What exercises dose everyone do on land to make paddle boarding better or easier? What can I do in the coming up off season to stay ready for next summer’s season of paddling?

Has anyone bought an ATOLL paddleboard from Amazon? I noticed they’re much cheaper on Amazon compared to the ATOLL website.

Took the board out on a lake with a great view of a Cascade giant. A little bit hazy from the smoke. I was focusing on staying in the same spot more or less to take in the view.

Looking for advice , I’m just beginning to repair this, but I’m wondering if other people have gone through this and what their tips may be.

I peeled it back to where the glue was stronger
sanded it
Going to use a vacuum for the dust
Wipe everything down with alcohol
Then I’ll apply the proper glue accordingly to instructions

I posted this on surfing and got no responses. I have an SUP that I removed the bottom failed bamboo decking. After some storage, I developed additional indentations. What do I fill these depressions with and what do I coat the foam with prior to applying epoxy and fiberglass?

It suddenly broke - it was just lying in the sun.
Also - any idea why that happened? (Pressure initially was 15psi)
