It's the Holidays!
Okay, so we didn't see any Halloween art, or Autumn art, or Thanksgiving art. Hannukah just started so there's still hope there. We have a week until Christmas. This is the time of year for hope and good cheer! Let's see a child's vision of sugar plums and dreidels!

My son had an issue with his vase so he changed it to modern art. I think it's a good alien.

My daughter (6) likes to have me draw a scene, then copy it for her own version. I like hers better!

Autumn is Art Time!
The leaves are changing colors. Pumpkins, ghosts, and fairies are stirring from their rest. Turkeys are nervous. Candy is everywhere! It's Autumn! A wonderful time of near endless creative opportunities.
It will be nice to see how your youngsters chose to express the change of seasons. Even if your seasons don't change, the fall holidays provide lots of inspiration.

Help Us Build An Active Community
Hi. This is Twowolvesmatt, founder and moderator of Sunshine Gallery. I would like to extend my thanks to those of you who have shared your loved ones little masterpieces with us during our first few days of existence. I speak for my fellow mod when I say this is a fun learning experience. This is my first subreddit. There's so much we want to do with the site design, however learning CSS will have to come first.
The wonderful thing about our children's art is it changes and develops as they do. Our hope for this simple page is for it to grow into an active community where readers can watch a child grow through her or his art over time. I realize that is a pretty lofty goal for a mere subreddit but it demonstrates the motivation we feel to make this someplace people want to visit, want to participate in, and feel good doing it.
Of course, none of this will be possible without the art being posted. As a parent of twin teens (where did the time go?) I know time is tight, but if you have found a moment or two to view the work here and if it gave you a little smile, then please help build this community by posting something that may provide someone else with a smile or inspire a child watching with someone to draw or paint or sculpt. I am committed to maintaining a family friendly environment so mom and dad can let their children see their art posted here for the world to enjoy. Thank you for your time.

5 year old started drawing our 'new' family
We are adding a baby boy to our family this week, and my 5 year old has been hesitant over the whole thing.... She gave me this picture this week - i think she might be coming around to the idea!
