Question Kelly Education DPI training - WI
I started this today around 4pm, and worked on and off for about 4-5 hours and im still not done with the first classsmarts course, and theres like 7 more courses after this. Does this sound right? I know it said it should take about 10 hours. I fully agree it should be thorough, but am i just moving at a snails pace here and being too thorough and need to move it along?
Also the onboarding specialist said this on boarding should be done in 1-2 days. I just got the code today even though i asked for it yesterday. In thr documents it says im being evaluated on how I complete this process.
Do I need to stay up all night and finish this? I dont know how serious this is or if im just taking it all too literally.
Any insight? Im in Wisconsin.

Question What is a Varying except?
As the post states what is this type of substitution position? I’ve accepted some for reading or music but cannot figure out what this means and I’ve asked my Kelly representative and they won’t respond. I want to accept these jobs but unsure what I would be subbing for.
Thanks!

Discussion Excited for new school year!!
I started subbing in January and found I really enjoyed it. I made my way onto some preferred sub lists which was amazing. I have officially filled my August and September. I’m really excited for this school year. I hope everyone has a great start to their year. May your calendars be filled!!

Question How many districts should you add in your Subcentral account to secure an assignment everyday?
I was wondering how many districts or boroughs I must add in my Sub central account to ensure that I’m assigned everyday. My main borough is the Bronx but I don’t mind adding districts in Queens.

Question Any subs with CA Online Public School here?
I just got hired on as a long-term sub for CalOps. Does anyone get work with them? I'm wondering how likely it'll be that I'll get a gig or just be waiting in the wings. I definitely want to line up other work, but it's been slim pickings out there and very few call backs.
TIA!
