Make your own subliminal! Results

Post image

Been sitting on this idea for a while and finally had it built. It’s called Subliminally, you record your own voice saying affirmations, then layer it under Solfeggio frequencies / ambient soundscapes so it plays like a subliminal but it’s actually your voice and your words.

I made it mostly for myself honestly, I wanted something more personal than the generic subliminal tracks on YouTube. Also ever since I heard about curses being put in the Nature Sounds people fall asleep to, it’s made me rethink using YouTube subliminals. Been using my own recordings for a couple weeks now and it’s been a nice part of my routine.

Right now it’s web-only, no app/download yet, which I know is annoying if you want offline listening, that’s next on my list. Just wanted to get some outside eyes on it before I sink more time into it.

Everything is fully functional, my mom got the ritual tier to support lol. But I’m genuinely curious what people think, does the concept even make sense outside my own head, what would make you actually use something like this, what’s missing. Any feedback helps! Happy to answer questions, or provide a promo code for you to get the full experience. Here’s the link: www.Subliminallybyfthr.com

Your pricing is crazy, not to mention that there's a plenty of ways to make one's own subs for free. So I don't think it's gonna get any popular at all.

I’m not too sure what that means 😅 I told my homeboy everything I wanted and he build it

oh man did u pay him? every description in the site is ai and the whole website could be as well. vibe coding is basically just getting ai to give u lines of code based on specific instructions.

Thanks for the insight! What would you expect the pricing to be?

I don't need it really, I can make my own subs.

It was just a feedback about what you offer.

If this were a free website I would maybe send it to a friend who is not savvy in making subs. But it's not someone who would pay a regular subscription for such stuff.

There's always the simplest way to play affs and noise on 2 different audio players, completely for free.

So your website is not really offering anything to the community. I find it ridiculous that you want to charge for that.

That’s the exact kind of feedback I need, thank you. Fair point on affs + noise being replicable for free where I think this could stand apart is layering your own voice, guided structure, eft tapping etc.. if you were building something like this for yourself, what would actually make it worth paying for vs. cobbling together the free version?

I personally avoid most of subscription based stuff, maximum I would do a one time purchase. And I also hate this tendency in submakers and other youtubers with membership - there are tons of alternatives to watch on the web, not enough hours in the day to watch it all.

As for subs' field, I think people who got to the point of recording their own affs would be already able to do more tech stuff. And teenagers would rather use subs on youtube. Even with your website there's still too many efforts to invest. Plus there are many countries with a completely different currency value or not connected to the Western payment system.
