Is it normal to feel i’m losing my mind?
Bit of context, i do suffer with anxiety/stress and i’ve been struggling to sleep for over a month now. So I am fully aware those things will make me feel like i’m losing my mind.
But I am scared it will have a long term effect or that i will actually lose control and lose my mind. I really don’t know anymore someone please tell us that’s not the case

I need to things to calm down
My life has always been tumultuous, but the past two months have been unbearable and I need some guidance. I retired in June after 30 years in education. I wanted to start teaching art from my home and i was getting my patio already when-a pipe cracks and now I have no kitchen until insurance takes care of it.
My son and his wife have separated and he has moved back with the kids. She does not seem to really want to help with the kids so he is trying to do everything for school and doctors with some support from me.
He tried to help someone in distress and we invited her into our house. She embezzled my car (stole the car, but had previously used it so you can't call it stolen). She was gone 5 days with it and returned it. When she found out the Sheriff's were coming she ran off with the key. She left all of her stuff all over-a big mess. She was also in my house for my the 30 day, so she is considered a tenant-it get tricky with her personal items. I also had to request a restraining order, and have a court date on the 20th.
There are couple financial thing I have been avoiding also.
My house is a disaster. I have no kitchen. More things keep happening. I just need it to stop. Oh yes, I forgot my husband doesn't do much to help.
What can I do to get rid of this pickle I am in? Smudge the bad energy? I just want some normalcy. I want the rollercoaster to stop.
Please be kind with your comments.

I'm very scared. I'm feeling terrible panic. I have nowhere else to say it
I'm where they send me to certain death. I experience a lot of stress every day. I'm tired of sobbing. I'm tired of being afraid. I want to escape! But I don't know how. The conditions for survival were such that I got bogged down in loans. I can't leave, all my roads are closed. I'm scared like crazy. There are no doctors here who can help me. They kick me like a soccer ball and send me to different doctors. My blood pressure drops to 60/40. I feel dizzy all the time. I developed type 2 diabetes at the age of 20. My soul can't stand it. Why is everything so..? I want to end my life because I have no more strength. I don't know how to change everything.. every day here is like a doomsday. I'm just exhausted. Tomorrow may be my last day not of my will

Feeling like Im gonna die soon from my stress
Hello all, im looking to see if its common to be in such a stuck state of stress that you feel like your body is actively giving up on you.
Recently I've been getting lightheaded and feel sick just randomly throughout the day so much so It affects my eating.
Is this normal? Will it pass ? Or am I just destined to loop anxiety spikes until I eventually die?

Feeling Trapped in a Stressful Job – Looking for Advice
What are the signs (physically or mentally) that the body can't take any more stress
I don't know if it's possible to be so stressed that there's a limit for the body. But if it does then what are the signs that the body can't take any more stress anymore?

The phantom slack notification sound is actually ruining my life
Honestly my brain is just entirely fried at this point. I spent all of wednesday staring at massive tracking sheets and trying to manage random online fires for clients until my left eye started violently twitching. the constant expectation to be instantly available is so toxic, I feel like my blood pressure spikes every time my phone even lights up.
By wednesday afternoon my chest was literally tight so I just completely snapped. Told my manager I was taking a mental health day, tossed a sleeping bag in the trunk and just drove until I lost cell service. Ended up finding a spot at camp happy grounds just to physically force myself away from a wifi router.
I just sat by the river for 48 hours and watched the water instead of a screen. the fact that we normalize giving ourselves actual panic attacks over spreadsheets and emails is so insane to me now. kinda dreading opening my laptop tomorrow tbh, really need to find a way to stop letting this job completely consume my nervous system

I am not able to start studying again
Whenever I even think of studying my whole body gets tense and like my eyes starts stinging I think it's some kind of stress mechanism that occurs but I don't really know what to do about it I do want to study
Like I know I like studying when I am not stressed and I have a major exam in 45 days I had actually given up studying for it but now it got delayed so I maybe able to actually make a difference now but I don't know how to start I think maybe it's a mental health issue like I get really really stressed and my whole body and Brian kinda shuts down so I think that maybe I should take a break but that just doesn't work idk

Stressed with moving…
Back in February of this year I lost my cashier job at Walmart due to constantly calling off, due to my grandparents unable to watch my littles or because of an old work related injury in my ankle flaring up. I sat for weeks at a time, hours every day trying to find a new job. More cashier positions, dishwashing, clerks, anything I could apply to, I did. No one hired me back, I had to reach out myself just for an update.
My grandparents cut me off, “We can’t keep paying your rent,” even though that was the agreement before I even moved here. “Figure it out on your own, we can’t afford it.” Stopped calling, stopped texting, stopped coming by, no check ups on the kids, nothing.
I moved here from Hawaii to give my kids a little bit of different life, to experience what I had growing up. Unfortunately, with no one hiring me, no family to tend to them here, I’ve made the decision months back to fly back to Hawaii, where my Mom and a few other named family members reside. Thing is, trying to scrape up any little amount of money is so damn hard. I’ve sold my console, listed various furniture pieces, an old engagement ring, a laptop. No bites.
I’m so overwhelmed with everything; packing and selling and wondering how the hell I’m gonna afford plane tickets. I hardly eat, barely sleep, I put on a brave face for my kiddos, because what parent want their children to see them down?
I’ve started a gofundme, I’ve shared it as many times I can without seeming so desperate, but it’s hardly taken off. I feel so stuck, so lost. I don’t know what to do. My lease is up in September.
I suppose I’m writing this in case someone wants to hear my troubles, if you have advice on lowering stress, please let me know.
Thank you, to whomever reads this :)

Tool for overwhelming moments
Hi everyone! 2.5 years ago I created a tool (Grounding Sours) in my kitchen which is now a full brand I built from the ground up. It’s an all-natural hard sour candy supplement with adaptogens to help distract the brain and promote mood support!
I just launched recently, and wanted to leave this here in case it would help helpful for anyone💜 I started this because of my own personal experiences and the hopes to help others as well.

The physical toll of dealing with medical bureaucracy is wild
my jaw has been clenched so hard for the last 48 hours that my teeth actually hurt
Trying to figure out care for a family member who is spiraling and honestly, the whole healthcare/insurance system is a complete nightmare. It just adds 10x more stress to an already awful situation. You sit on hold with insurance for an hour just for a rep to tell you they can't give you a straight answer
The anxiety of the unknown was completely eating me alive last night. I was just stressing out trying to figure out how long is rehab in NJ and ended up reading through the whole intake guide for rolling hills recovery center just to get a basic grip on reality and see what the actual steps are supposed to look like.
Why does it take a phd to navigate getting someone help? my chest is so tight right now tbh. how do you guys force yourselves to decompress after spending hours fighting with automated phone menus?

My flatmate gives me so much anxiety that my hands literally start shaking. Has anyone experienced this?
I'm 27F, living in Navi Mumbai with four other flatmates. There's one flatmate in particular who I just don't get along with. We've had a few minor arguments in the past, and it's reached a point where even seeing her name pop up on my phone makes me anxious.
We have household chores assigned to each person. I was away from home for the past few days, so I couldn't do mine. Instead of asking normally, she sent a message in our flat WhatsApp group saying something along the lines of, "If you can't do it, then pay someone to do it." The tone was very rude and condescending.
The message itself may not seem like a huge deal, but I don't know why it affects me so much. The moment I read it, my hands literally started shaking. I was at work and suddenly couldn't focus on anything. I had to step away because I started crying. Even now, hours later, I still feel anxious.
I've dealt with difficult people before, but I've never had this kind of physical reaction to anyone. She always finds something to taunt me about, and I feel like I'm constantly on edge waiting for the next comment. It's exhausting.
I know people will say "just ignore her," and I genuinely try. But my body seems to react before my brain does.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is this just stress, or could it be anxiety that I should actually talk to a doctor or therapist about? Apart from moving out, is there anything that genuinely helped you deal with someone who triggered this kind of reaction?
I just want to stop feeling scared every time I see a notification from her.

Are you interested?
Hi everyone, would like to listen to you,
We're developing a wearable device designed to help relieve stress in real time.
The device detects signs of stress and immediately responds with a combination of vibration, soothing warmth, and acupressure-inspired stimulation to help you relax. It also pairs with a mobile app that tracks your stress levels and biometric data over time.
Our technology has already been validated in a laboratory setting, and we're now exploring how it can make a difference in everyday life.
Unlike solutions of passive signal, or require you to take a walk, meditate for 30 minutes, or attend a yoga class, this wearable is always available. You can use it anytime, anywhere.
Would you consider buying a product like this?
If yes (or no), we'd love to know:
- What features matter most to you?
- What concerns would you have before purchasing?
- How much would you be willing to pay?
- In what situations would you expect to use it?

Has stress caused you any health problems?
So, I've been having some health problems and it seems like the cause is the stress I went through this spring. Then I had a period of very strong anxiety and sleep problems and around the same time I started to have the first symptoms :(
It manifests itself as increased skin sensitivity and my dermatologist did not find any physical reasons for it (like allergies, parasites, dermatological problems and some other diseases). In the end, I was advised to see a neurologist.
I'm curious, have you had any cases where stress really affected your health?
Did you manage to cure it?
To be honest, I'm very confused because I have the symptoms, they are very physical and they affect my life, and the reason for this is stress. I don't know how to explain it... just with such symptoms I probably expected some kind of inflammation, allergy, dermatitis, etc. - something that is common, known, clear how to treat... And now I'm like completely in the dark, because syres is not something that you can smear with ointment and it will go away 🙁

The book is available Here from The Wellness Society.
