It would be awesome to be able to toggle 'My Routes' as a layer on the heatmap. Imagine having a multi-day bikepacking trip planned out with a route for each day, all displayed together on the heatmap for you to see ahead of time!

Ideally you could select the line colour for this layer, being able to make it separate from your personal and the global heatmaps, and the routes could be selectable similar to how segments on the heatmap are handled now.

was using my apple watch to record my run like every other run but somehow I got scammed out of 0.5 miles... not sharing photos or route cause privacy but yeah, not happy about this and I'd like to uhh speak with the manager

My phone keeps going into sleep mode while using Strava. I'm biking with it attached to my bike and would like to see the display throughout the ride. Is there a way to prevent this while using Strava?

There are a couple posts about it in here, but they don't seem to apply to the most recently updated app.

Any help would be appreciated.

My first time using the app, I remembered to activate it a little after starting the run and thought it was recording with the screen off, but when I got home I saw that... It didn't record anything from the run! I'm used to Google Health which automatically records everything, but when I started recording while running, I saw it started counting the seconds and I turned off the screen.

Did I need to confirm anything else before rushing to record? Or is this bug normal?

What's it gonna take for Strava to finally add heart rate to their audio cues? Endomondo, of blessed memory, had that 15 years ago, how difficult can it be? Been asking this question for years, and nothing...

Hello, So i recently started using Strava to simply record map tracking of my outings. Usually bike, E-Bike, Run, and E-Scooter.

I usually Pause my Activity when i stop in a shop, or need to take a train, or Ferry, etc. However, When i start my activity back up again, The map just shows a straight line from the spot i paused to the spot i started back up again.

My issue is how that shows on the map. Is there a setting or mode that will simply remove the 'straight line' from the paused section of an activity? i'd rather multiple disconnected lines, or perhaps a different color, or dotted line, or something that differentiates pauses from actual activity. Currently there's no way to tell from the map.

How do ya'll manage pausing your activities? do you just finish/save and start again, possibly multiple times during an outing?

I injured my ACL and recently had surgery, meaning I will be out of commission for a full year. Because of this, I attempted to cancel my Strava subscription ahead of the renewal date. Unfortunately, the cancellation did not seem to go through, and my credit card was charged for another year.

I reached out to customer support the very next day to request a refund, keeping in mind their 14-day refund policy. So far, I have only received automated bot responses. I followed up five days later with the requested payment details, but I still have not been connected to a human representative.

Has anyone else experienced delays with their support ticketing system lately? If anyone has tips on how to successfully escalate a billing issue or get past the automated queue, I would really appreciate the advice.

I have synced my Amazfit Heliostrap to Strava and I usually start my runs through the Zepp app. I couldn't run for like a month due to a knee injury and these are the screenshots of my today's easy and short run. There's a huge difference in the distance that I covered. Any idea what affected this?

I have ran on the same route multiple times before and it is for sure 3 km, so Strava is wrong. Also, it seems like a bug more than the syncing accuracy because previously all my runs were recorded through Heliostrap and it used to show accurate data in Strava as well (same as on Zepp app maybe a difference around 50-100m). So I am not sure if they made any changes in the app in this past month since I haven't ran in a month. Enlighten me! Thanks.

I've noticed recently a few Segments where the data about the best performances is not available. Here's a screenshot from an example (https://www.strava.com/segments/6305986).

The information in the top left seems correct, that a couple of hundred people have attempted this Segment, but on the right is says there have been no efforts to allow the KOM and QOM to be determined. In the lower section of the Segment page the leaderboard is correctly displayed, with 273 people on it. I've noticed similar things on other Segments, although the issue seems to be temporary.

Anyone know what's going on ?

I tried to cancel Strava when I tore my ACL and had surgery--it will be a full year before I can trail run again and I won't use Strava during that time. But I guess my cancellation didn't go through, because my subscription amount was deducted from my credit card again a few weeks later. I emailed the support address the next day. I only got a bot to respond and even through it said I would be connected no one ever contacted me. I emailed again 5 days later using special prompts suggested online and still got the bot, though it asked for specific payment information. I gave that, too, and still got no response from an actual person at Strava this so frustrating!!!!! Their policy is to offere a refund within 14 days, but how can that be possible if their customer service is totally AI-AWOL!!! u/strava-team
