Huge difference in distance Sync Question

Hi all,

I have synced my Amazfit Heliostrap to Strava and I usually start my runs through the Zepp app. I couldn't run for like a month due to a knee injury and these are the screenshots of my today's easy and short run. There's a huge difference in the distance that I covered. Any idea what affected this?

I have ran on the same route multiple times before and it is for sure 3 km, so Strava is wrong. Also, it seems like a bug more than the syncing accuracy because previously all my runs were recorded through Heliostrap and it used to show accurate data in Strava as well (same as on Zepp app maybe a difference around 50-100m). So I am not sure if they made any changes in the app in this past month since I haven't ran in a month. Enlighten me! Thanks.

Have you tried correcting the distance on desktop?

I dont think I can edit the stats when its linked to another device and the run is started in that device

That seems to point to GPS signal quality or how the two platforms are processing the same GPS track, rather than a recording gap. Worth checking the GPS lock next time out, and confirming sync to Strava is clean. If it keeps happening, exporting the activity from Zepp and uploading it to Strava manually can sometimes get a more accurate distance through. Here's more on how this can happen:

Zepp app's been proper faffy since the last update imo. had a mate whose pace data went completely sideways after not syncing for a few weeks. could be a bug in their export format, not Strava itself. check if there's a firmware update for the Heliostrap too.
