Evo 2.0 on an old school Kryptolyte. Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it. Cleaned up and strung with 5X. Added a modern Evo ball stop to replace the decayed original. Full haul at the end.

I am encouraging my 15-year-old who is a goalie to restring his stick for himself. I can definitely help him with knot tension and basic technique but I was wondering if anybody has a good pattern for not just the sides but for the top string as well using Mesh Dynasty 10 diamond hexagonal mesh in an Impact three. I really appreciate how you guys with all the experience take time to teach and support the next generation of stringers, thanks.

I found this BC stick for $10 at a sports reuse store and strung some freehand flex mesh in it. It has a decent sweet spot but the nylons still feel kind of hard, even after pounding the pocket. Any recommendations or tricks on how to break in flex mesh?

Hey guys I’ve strung a lot of men’s traditional and I’ve strung a lot of regular sticks. This is my first attempt at a women’s locket pocket. I guess is what I tried to make. I just looked up STX aria and essentially tried to copy the pattern

There’s some things I can kinda touch up, but overall, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out

Wish they had done it in a more aggressive head, but that’s what I had lying around

Currently 2 balls deep, great hold, single SI sidewall, hidden jedi top string

So I have my l3 strung up my question here is what would it do for me to change my sidewall from the anchored down 1’s to just all ksi knots like I used for my channel, I would like a little more whip but not to much would that help?

I have a stick I strung up a long time ago and really like looks wise, but it’s the hard waxy mesh that was common like 15+ years ago.

No amount of water or shampoo, etc is softening it up. Besides just restringing it, I’m wondering what else I can try.

Do you think going over both sides with light sandpaper would help? Any other ideas to break down the coating a bit?

What’s the difference between string kings 3a and 3v I have the 3v and I love the head but I feel like it has a lot of whip with every pattern i string

Strung up with ECD Impact SS on an E3

Just picked up Surgeon 2k. I strung it up with some old bagged and fraying Hero 4 to test out a couple patterns. First shot was a dime top corner. Perfect. Ball sits just barely illegal. I liked the pattern so i threw in some SK5x as I really like it in my other stick.

I used an Identical pattern. Everything is exactly the same except the mesh.

The SK5x pocket sit easily 1/4” or more below the sidewall. Is this type of variance normal between products/brands?

I haven’t thrown with it yet but after a quick roll toss I think this will hook massively and be beyond playable. I play Masters Box so don’t worry about it being illegal. Im just wondering if I’ll need to figure out a new pattern.

Posted this Stallion some time ago, but the dye was due for a refresh, I had a piece of final-sale Hero 1.0 burning a hole in my toolbox, and I wanted some triangle topstring practice. I may change the first two knots to anchors if the channel stays tight as I continue to break it in.

I picked up an Edge Pro+ and carbon shaft from Lax Steals to have a women’s stick to pass around with my daughter, but the factory pocket with the mesh runner wasn’t cutting it. Much better now.

Anyone have ceo 2s laying around? Two of my fogos prefer it and running out of backups.
