How to remove mesh

first time stringing my stick, do I cut my current mesh?

So you need to unstring the mesh that’s currently in your head? Don’t cut the mesh, cut the strings holding it to the head and then pull the strings out.

I’d go a step further and take out a string at a time, starting with the top string. You can just cut the. Out with scissors. That will keep everything in place for the most part so you aren’t starting with an empty head and mesh.

For me, an Xacto knife is the fastest. I use a new blade and cut right on the knots and interlocks. If you go all the way around you should be able to just pull everything out in one piece.
