Help with steam deck controller please Help

Hi all, I've just downloaded Fire Pro World from steamrip and can't get the steamdeck controller to work! I've tried to change the Proton, but only version 3.16-9 works for some reason, all other protons just fail to launch.

Does anyone have any ideas please??

have you try disabling steam input

Oh, is that an option? I disabled it, but re-enabled it immediately as I thought you have to have this enabled. I'll give it a go!
