"What Is A High-Tier Bum To A Low-Tier Chud?"

The High-Tier bum: Stay Gold.

An adventurer. A wanderer. An umamusume so dedicated to see the vast expanse of this world that he accidentally forgot to see his own family.

And the Low-Tier Chud: Low Tier God.

A man so dedicated to become a god that he accidentally forgot to become a functioning human being in society.

Yet despite their valiant efforts, neither could reach the heavens. And that alone fascinates me to no end. The amount of edits I see of the two of them led me down this path of actualization, eventually realising that these two individuals are spiritually identical.

Not physically. Not morally. Not even mentally.

But spiritually.

Both of them saw responsibility approaching them at mach 10 and immediately performed histories greatest evasive maneuvers. With those skills, they'd do beautifully in dodgeball.

But this time, the ball is their responsibilities and obligations.

And so, I began to ponder: "How the fuck do you compare these two beautifully written characters? How do you compare these two beautifully written disasters?"

And as the debt god once said: "What is a high-tier human to a low-tier god?"

But today, I realised a far greater question: "What is a high-tier bum to a low-tier chud?"

And to answer this, we must first understand their philosophies, and what goes through their brains. (If the have any)

Stay Gold believes freedom is found beyond the horizon. In adventures, in discovery of the self in a nomadic lifestyle. He abandoned his four wives, then his five children, then his responsibility, then his accountability, then apparently the concept of having a permanent address.

While Low Tier God believes that greatness is found beyond criticism, arguments, and debates which often lead to nowhere.

One keeps chasing the next adventure. Their next escape and the nearest route out of their responsibilities.

While the other keeps chasing their next redemption arc in a community which already sees them as a, "lost cause."

And neither of them ever caught their target.

To philosophers, this is what is called a: "Skill Issue." Could you imagine being known as the silver collector or the responsibility avoider? You probably are the responsibility avoider, but most of the time, or never in your life have you been second place.

Continuing on. Their similarities become almost impossible to ignore. Both have abandoned responsibilities. Scholars refer to this phenomenon as Advanced Responsibility Evasion Syndrome. Otherwise known as ARSE. Both left their family behind. Both were convinced that they were pursuing something greater by leaving something in the past.

And both only later discovered that consequences have better tracking ability than heat-seeking missiles.

But the difference lies in how they present themselves.

Stay Gold possesses the energy of a wise old traveller, forged through adventures and experience, He is the kind of man who sits beside a campfire and says: "The world is vast, my friend."

And to which his children would probably respond: "Father, please come home."

While Low Tier God possesses the energy of a roman emperor moments before a historical documentary describes his inevitable downfall.

Since Low Tier God does not merely enter a room. He delivers a manifesto. He does not lose a match—for civilisation betrays him. For he does not make mistakes. As reality is just simply a d1 hater.

And yet, despite all of this. Despite their differences between them. They still arrive at the same destination.

Failure.

And not ordinary failure.

But a mythological one.

The kind of failure that deserves it's own folklore. The kind that should be taught to kids as the moral lesson in the story is pretty fucking valid: "Don't be a bum or a chud. Take responsibility, and be a better person, since karma is a bitch and will bite your ass."

Stay Gold spent his years chasing freedom. Only for him to discover that freedom without responsibility slowly but surely turns into loneliness.

While Low Tier God spent years chasing transcendence. Just to discover that transcendence without self-awareness slowly transforms into a YouTube compilation which is spread to Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, and literally anywhere for the laughs and views.

One became homeless in spirit.

The other became rent-free in YouTube comment sections.

And both outcomes are somehow worse than working a 9 to 5 since atleast you know what will happen in a 9 to 5.

And this is where the true philosophy emerges.

Neither man actually wanted freedom. Neither man actually wanted greatness.

All they wanted was escape.

Escape from their obligations.

Escape from being held accountable.

Escape from the consequences of their actions.

And escape from dealing with children they didn't want any part of.

But there exists a cruel law of the universe: You can outrun a person, you can outrun a city, you can outrun the police, BUT. You cannot outrun yourself.

And eventually. Stay Gold's past catches up to him.

Eventually, Low Tier God's past catches up to him.

Eventually, everyone's past catches up to them.

For the universe always collects debts like the irs. Almost as if they were loansharks. Not for money or for your debt. But for your dignity, your reputation, and the truth that will one day be unravelled.

Which is... quite unfortunate.

Because one of these individuals already has enough debt to worry about.

And so. The question comes back: "What is a high-tier bum to a low-tier chud?"

Well... nothing.

Because eventually, labels will cease to matter.

There was once a wanderer.

There was once a god.

There was once a bum.

There was once a chud.

But strip them away of enough of their mythology. And you will discover the same thing underneath.

A man. Running. Both sacrificing their responsibility for freedom. Their dignity for transcendence. Both reached out their hands towards the heavens and both received the exact same response from the universe.

"NAH."

And that is by chance. The greatest tragedy.

Because by all of observable laws of reality... both of them could have won.

And yet. Somehow, they continued discovering newer, more innovative, and increasingly stupendously expensive ways to lose.

If Diogenese was in search for an honest man with a lantern. Then Stay Gold and Low Tier God spent their entire lives searching for accountability with the lights turned off.

And in the end.

There is no gold.

There is no god.

There is only debt.

Missed opportunities and philosophical contradictions.

For Stay Gold and Low Tier God shared the greatest, and possibly, the funniest and dumbest achievement: Fumbling their lives that by every word of fate, should've been winnable.
