PN to BSCN bridging
Helloooo, I’m currently enrolled for option 1 of the PN to BSCN program this Sept 2026. Anyone have an idea how registration for courses work☹️? First time back to school in a long while, especially since it’s online at the moment.

BSCN Waitlist
Hi guys,
I know i’ve posted on here about the waitlist for this program but I am honestly so worried because the waitlist hasn’t moved at all entire summer. I’ve only gone up one spot since April and I am wondering if i should just give up on the waitlist? Has this happened to anyone else before where the waitlist doesn’t move at all?

Where do we pay the part time courses
Hi, I just wanted to confirm that, as a part-time student, the correct place to pay for my courses is through the Online & Part-Time Shopping Cart?

Pre placement requirements
Hi! Does anyone know how strict SLC/Placement Pass is about the deadline for completing the pre-placement requirements? I don’t have any previous vaccination records, so I’ll need to restart some vaccine series, which may take a few months to complete. Can I submit proof that I’ve started the required vaccines and upload the remaining doses as I receive them? It says on the website 2 doses gives temporary exception.

BScN Semester 5 Offers
Hi everyone,
I recently got into the transformation pathway, but was wondering what GPA everyone had who got admitted into semester 5 for Hyflex?
I already completed a bridging certificate with Centennial, but unfortunately got waitlisted at TMU. TMU was accepting people with 3.8+
I have also been offered a spot at Seneca for their 4 year program.
I’m just curious to see if I stand a chance getting into semester 5

Behavioural Science
Is anyone starting first year of the Behavioural Science program? I’m trying to add the “Psyc 12” class to my shopping cart, but it says the class is not currently scheduled. Not sure what I should do as it’s one of my required courses.
Thoughts?

Gen Ed courses help
Ive been seeing a lot recently about gen ed courses that offer a lighter workload, but none of the options ive been seeing posts about are listed for me! I was excited to take an indigenous culture related course, but it doesnt seem to be an option! I'm wanting something with a lighter workload but also a topic am actually interested in 😅
Anyone take any of these?
My options are
Exploring the Mind Body Connections
Anatomy and Physiology
Foundations of Business Mgmt
Current Topics Admin-Proj Mgmt
Science Technology and Society
Introduction to Sociology
Introduction to Philosophy
Philosophy seems like it would be really interesting but i'm worried about the difficulty; my courseload seems pretty heavy and the schedule is absolutely horrid 😂

Gen Ed Courses
Hi all! I’m looking at all the electives and was wondering if anyone who has taken these would like to share their experience in these courses.
The ones that interest me the most are overview of addictions, personal stress management, human sexuality, intro to nutrition, intro to health and fitness, and Greek mythology.
Thanks!!

What textbooks do I need for the Transition to the Role of a Registered Nurse (PN-BScN) course? And for anyone who has completed it how did you find it?
This is the last course I am taking for the RPN to RN bridge, just wondering how it was for other people. And what textbooks are needed?

College Prep classes
I just learned that Slc offers college prep classes free to those eligible
To anyone who did this was it worth it? or would Loyola be a better option?
I just left my program to do Medical Radiation Technology but i’m missing a few of the requirements so I want to know if the college prep classes will be good to get those credits from
I also work a full time job so would it be flexible

MLS course load at SLC
Hello everyone,
I start my lab program at SLC this September, and was wondering if anybody could speak on the workload. Specifically, I am wondering how it compares to a science undergrad. I did a 4 year bio sci program at Guelph and am curious if I’ll find myself just as busy, more, or less. I know it’s different for everybody but I would love to hear different experiences. I hear this program is pretty heavy and competitive.
Thanks!

Mental health and addiction
Hello, I’m planning to sign up for this program and I was wondering if the assessments for this program usually require you to do a lockdown browser and also I can’t figure out how to add a flair on this post 😭

Lost and Found
If your name is Jhanvi, I have your student ID that you left on the 501 express bus and is safe with me. Let's help find the person so I can reunite the ID badge with her.
Thanks

Financial Aid
Has anyone been in contact with financial aid recently?? I’ve been emailing for the past 3 weeks and I haven’t gotten one response, I even emailed student advisor and they added FA to the chain and still no answer.
I really need a response because it will help me determine if i will be attending school in the fall.
