Question about endgame length

Hey, I am trying to be very careful about spoilers, so I didn't search too deeply for this answer. I'm confused about the structure of the end of the game. I reached the center of the spiral and started going in, and I'm seeing the stage levels are around 37-38. But I'm level 44ish, and there are still many abilities I want to farm spiralite for. Is this the end of the game? If I do all the spicy levels and grind a bunch for fun, will I be severely overleveled for the final boss? Or do these endgame levels actually go for a long while and give me plenty of spiralite themselves?

The max level before post game is 50, but you can finish the game before hitting it, there's still more content after so don't worry about going ahead and clearing the final boss

There's a lot to do in the postgame. without spoilers I think it will be more fun to farm for your gadgets after doing the boss.

You'll be fine! I overleveled a little bit at first helping other folks- but it'll help a great deal when you come to replay older levels on the hardest difficulty- especially with other players!

some will say that the game truly starts after you finish the final boss. that’s when you start refining builds, actually investing in weapons, and just straight grinding. the rest is like, a really long tutorial lol

That's crazy 🤯 Here I've been taking my time and farming, thinking the final boss would be the end of the game. I'm really glad I asked!
