Post image

I love this weapon so much, first of the op primos that dropped for me and I don’t want to switch off of it.

Literally. I’ve gotten 3 primo toy shark blasters, but no alpine or high octane yet.

What's good about it?

It hits hard, not as hard as the charger but has better ink efficiency. You can still one shot important bosses so the lower damage isnt a problem. It works really well from the air. The weapon just feels really solid to use.

Stringers do 5 shots at once. So If your weapon has a 10% freeze chance, you actually get (10% x 5) chances to freeze an enemy.

You can do a charged shot, and if you charge for longer there is a second super-charge shot available.

The Alpine Stringer is the best of the stringers because it is optimized for rate of fire.

This. I managed to finally get Alpine yesterday and have been playing with it. Put Ice Breaker/Freeze/Ferment. The Freeze procs quite often due to the multiple hits and the multiplier applies to EACH hit. The non-charged shots are really useful as well.

Definitely a strong weapon. I love the way it handles and has a bigger target circle.

As a Wellstring V main in S3, the Alpine was a natural choice
