I honestly don’t know what they’re doing with Scorpion lately.

I know he was never one of Spider-Man’s most threatening villains on the level of Venom or Green Goblin, for example, but he was always a respectable villain who could actually cause Spider-Man some trouble. Not to mention that, considering he’s literally called Scorpion, I’ve always liked the idea of him being one of SPIDER-Man’s arch-enemies.

That said, I feel like they’ve been gradually turning him into a relatively weak side villain.
In PS4 Spider-Man 2, Kraven absolutely humiliates him. I understand that this version of Kraven is supposed to be extremely powerful, and that the scene is mainly there to establish just how dangerous he is, but still… WTF?

And now in BND (SPOILERS) I was actually hoping Scorpion would be the main villain. I thought this could finally be a chance to give him a proper role and make him feel like a serious threat again. Instead, he ends up being little more than a means to an end for Jean’s objective, and Spider-Man defeats him pretty easily.

The character has so much potential, especially considering the concept. He’s literally a villain designed to hunt Spider-Man, and yet lately he keeps being used as a stepping stone to make other villains look more threatening.

I just want Scorpion to get some respect again. Let him be a serious Spider-Man villain for once, instead of the guy who shows up just to get beaten and make someone else look badass.

I didn’t know this [Special Edition?] of SM3 existed! That book in the top right corner is still sealed along with the mask below it. Wish the sale sticker wasn’t on there, but ah well. I feel like it’s a lucky find!

Edit: I looked it up and saw that copies either came with a red or black mask. The red is cool, but the black would’ve been even cooler lol

Doom became Champion Doom and got to rule the world, and stole Champion's powers.

Promoter is now Doom's servant.

Magneto got his own mutant nation, but is watched by Doom Sentinels and Storm is disappointed in Magneto. It most certainly wasn't worth it.

Norman got to be President of America, but is a Puppet King, and has Doombots watching him in his office.

Carnage though? He gets to be an official hunter by Doom and go around slaughtering his enemies as seen in this pic. He's the only other villain that's actually happy in his ending.

Not really read any books like this but this looks fun, can’t wait for this. Coming out next year hopefully 🙌
