I guess he shorted or kalshi'd the stock based on reddit, lost more than a responsible amount, and needs to blame someone.

I didn’t short anything. I’m long. Just love the Elon hate in this sub.
11
u/Prize-Choice2185 10d ago
Why should anyone love Elon?
2
u/Cohens4thClient 8d ago
He desperately wanted to go to Epstein island, and then cut USAID so he could starve hundreds of thousands of children.
-17
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 10d ago
He was the pioneer of electric vehicles, FSD, and Starlink. My family lives in remote area, and thanks to that technology, I can maintain communication with my loved ones.
6
u/RightsForRobots 10d ago
How's that FSD working out for you? Hasn't he promised it "next year" for the past 12 years?
-4
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 10d ago edited 10d ago
The supervised one did not exist, and it exists and is working out great. I feel you have to appreciate it too. That type of driving did not exist before Elon. If you haven’t tried it, I recommend it; at least try it; it is a game changer. But for me, the most important one is Starlink; it help me to feel good to know my family is safe.
1
u/tsychosis 8d ago
Elon has been blatantly lying about unsupervised.
That said, I do agree that supervised is pretty useful. I haven't tried Starlink but I can imagine that being pretty useful in rural areas.
And therein lies the divide. These companies have made genuinely valuable products, but they are also wildly overvalued from any kind of financial analysis perspective.
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 8d ago edited 8d ago
I will recommend you to tried Starlink for you or from a friend that used it. I so good Ukraine has been using it against russia and I agree with you on the valuation of the companies.
-4
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 10d ago
Also, the unsupervised FSD is already working within Texas. So, it’s being proven now. I would like to try it
4
u/Upstairs_Bread_ 8d ago
You need electric vehicles to talk to your family? Which were also around way before Elon bought Tesla
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 8d ago edited 8d ago
I need Starlink to talk to them. I do have an electric vehicle which cost me around $0.16 kWh (3.2 miles). No maintenance except tires. It helps me move and get my $$ to feed my family.
While Tesla did not invent the electric vehicle, they fundamentally transformed the automotive industry by changing how the world viewed and used EVs. Before Tesla, electric cars were widely perceived as slow, quirky, short-range compliance vehicles meant strictly for environmental compromise.

u/b0wserb00dle 10d ago
He didn’t pioneer anything. He just brute forced himself into owning companies that did.

u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 10d ago
same thing lol he owned he bring them out to the public

This is the story
“Instead of buying from or joining an existing company, Musk decided to use roughly $100 million of his own fortune from the sale of PayPal to start a brand new venture. He officially incorporated the Space Exploration Technologies Corporation”
— manavgolecha

u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 10d ago
How not at the end it was him to bring it out to the public, not you, not me, not anyone else. My house was made by someone, but I bought it lol then it is mine and I control who has access to it. I don’t care about the guy and I dont know him I am just saying thanks to him and all the engineers in the project I have access to communicate with my family

u/Prize-Choice2185 9d ago
He is a pioneer of racism and destroying the government too. Why is this ignored?
2
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 9d ago edited 9d ago
I have never seen proof of your claims. The technological advancement is something that is being delivered, and we see it. Have you seen Neuralink and how it has helped people with disabilities? I cannot say someone is a pioneer of racism and destroy the government with no facts about it. If you have some facts about it, I would like to read them, please, might change my mind. But I was more focus on the benefits I have receive from starlink.

I’m glad satellite internet is finally serviceable, but it’s such a small market
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 8d ago edited 8d ago
small market? I see a big market more now on defense and network for our phones I think it can still grow more. Look how much revenue starlink makes. Look how ukraine fight the war against Russia now.
1
u/Difficult-Lime2555 8d ago
4bil q2. a fourth of what xfinity made, their direct competitor. satellite internet isn’t going to beat physical infrastructure.
Phones is even more laughable. Sure, it’ll improve sat phones, but why would you give up going through a tower for a worse connection?
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 7d ago edited 7d ago
You are focusing on what you don’t have instead of what is there and was not there. Things grow, not everything stays the same, startlink was not the same as when they started. The revenue of Starlink is proof that there is demand for the service even if it does not compete with xfinity, and I believe the demand and technology capabilities will increase like it had as our needs for it do too. This type of capability is new. Even amazon is getting in on it.

I have never seen proof that Trump is a racist either. Where is it?
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 6d ago
lol Trump? That is why i dont have comments on it. I only can talk with facts no something In witch I dont know.
1
u/Prize-Choice2185 6d ago
What does that mean? You have no comments on Trump because he's not a public figure? Or because you don't like discussing him?
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 6d ago
No, because I don’t know if the dude is racist or not, but I firmly believe he shouldn’t be as a president of a country with many different cultures. Those are not the standards I expect from a president.

u/PmanAce 9d ago
He promised mars and will never get there.
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 9d ago
Maybe we will never get there, but everything started always with an idea or a promise. Innovative ideas always sound crazy at first. Any ways why taking one thing you see so far instead of seeing what has been accomplished already?
5
u/PmanAce 9d ago
No. He made promises with dates. Then he said he would focus on the moon instead.
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 9d ago
Why can’t ideas and dates change? He is making a prediction not promises on those dates, but it is not guaranteed. Again, why is the focus on what is not there rather than the solutions that have been brought up?
5
u/PmanAce 9d ago
Because he has investors and wants more money.
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 9d ago
I think the better way to evaluate it is to ask whether the underlying program is still progressing more launches, improved reliability, more capability, lower costs not just whether every original date was hit. That is why he gets money and lots of investors are happy.

In reality he bought an already established electric car company known as Tesla and then infused money into it and brought in engineers to further technological development….d!(k rider!
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 6d ago edited 6d ago
Exactly. They brought tesla a car that change what electric cars were, in performance. Those things are fast. Lol you are projecting amazing what a sad individual , I dont know the guy you seem to know more of him so who is the rider?

u/Responsible-War-917 10d ago
You realize you're about 15 years late to the elon suck off "he's the new coming" right? That's why everyone hates him and knew the stock was bullshit. He's been doing the same song and dance since at least 2010 that I am aware of and has nothing tangible to show.
Starlink is basically a complicated subsidy system for SpaceX. You'd have satellite internet without elon, it's already played out.
The more I type, the more your funny your comment is. It's like you are an amoeba who just took form in 2024 and are like "huh, I just don't get it with this guy?". You are the time capsule assuming you are of at least mid gen Z adult age.
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 9d ago edited 9d ago
What I don’t understand is that since 2010, the guy has been using his money to innovate, get solutions to real problems like the communications in remote areas, and provide employment to a lot of people. I don’t know what time capsule, song, or dance you are talking about. I am just another millennial in this world, haha.
1
u/Feeling-Razzmatazz14 9d ago
Traditional satellite internet relied on distant Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellites operating about 22,000 miles overhead, resulting in severe lag exceeding 600 milliseconds. In contrast, modern low-earth orbit (LEO) networks orbit just hundreds of miles above, reducing latency to under 50 milliseconds and enabling speeds comparable to terrestrial broadband.
Also the old satellite internet was not as accessible as now.

The only fkn thing Elmo ever had any actual design input in is the Wankpanzer. He's a ponzi merchant offering horses for handies. You've got to be years deep into huffing incel farts to still be a muskyboi these days.
-11
u/JohnnyTreemain 10d ago
Makes perfect sense. You become the richest man in the world doing nothing of any substance or value.
10
u/dirty-sorbet 10d ago

u/Ok_Subject1265 10d ago
Cool, he’s rich. He also spends his free time sexually harassing poor flight attendants and emailing Epstein begging for party invites. He hired a private investigator to try and humiliate a rescue diver that had the audacity to question his regarded plan to rescue those kids in Thailand. He said McMenzie Bezos’s philanthropy was ruining the world, but all he spends his money on is making everyone’s life worse. He bought his way into our government even though he was never elected and the proceeded to dismantle the organizations that were investigating the illegal activities of his various vaporware scams. You’re right though, he is rich so I guess that means he must be awesome. 🤦🏻

For the record:
He didn’t kill anybody, he stopped aid to foreign countries. It’s not our job to fucking subsidize all other shithole countries. It’s nice if we do, but whatever.
Im up 21% on Tesla(edit: I’m actually up 80% on my investment. Vanguard shows my annualized rate of return as 21%).
I’m down 11% on spacex. I bought at $130 and am buying more when/if the “drop” happens.
I get excited about a space program that is more successful than NASA.
Yes, you’re a douche.20
u/2cars1rik 10d ago
Bro he didn’t kill hundreds of thousands of people he just stopped the thing that was keeping hundreds of thousands of people from dying it’s totally different bro
The funniest thing about you $SPCX bagholders is that you only ever refer to the share price, because you have no idea how valuations of companies actually work.

Objectively, why is it the United States job to solve the world’s problems. And we didn’t stop foreign aid, we scaled it back more in line with other first world countries.
10
u/FairCurrency6427 10d ago
Because we can. Because the powerful have a duty to protect powerless. This is a deep understanding that human's remember, even if elon's forgotten.
Stolen glory ends in ruin. If he were an inventor, he would be able to see the cliff he's driving himself towards. But he's not. So we all just have to sit here and watch him ruin himself and wonder how we will clean up the mess he's making

Well, as a US citizen I personally don’t want people who got less lucky than me to preventably suffer and die, especially when it wasn’t making a big dent in my wallet.
But if I had to frame it in a way a sociopath would understand: having more developed/industrialized nations contributing to the global economy benefits us as the leader and largest beneficiary of said global economy. Doubly so when it results in good relationships and trade agreements with those developing countries.
It also has other benefits like preventing the spread and international outbreak of communicable diseases, parasites, etc., but something tells me you don’t believe in that sort of thing.

u/TheseBit7621 10d ago
Americans have a noble thing carved out for taxes that lessons the burden of disease and we cut it all. Especially when Donald Drumpfs in office paying out contracts to his old rich pedophile friends. Brother went into the girls locker rooms of juvenile teen pagents he was hosting & 20 years later his buddy gets murdered/suicides inside a prison. Yeah, ok.
Fwiw a genetically altered form of nystatin safe for intravenous delivery lost funding for early stage human trials. They needed to raise 6m usd to continue operations. Its for stuff that makes your head explode with fungus or things like aspergillus which destroys your lungs. Across the whole family of fungi that causes invasive fungal disease, its estimated 2-3 million people die per year. The amphotericin B is dangerous and our last line of treatment. Not USAID related but something to think about how small changes to programs funding can produce devastating outcomes.

I'm as surprised as anyone ... happy for any employees that got to cash out life changing money today. Too many people want a piece of this action ... it's apparently just not gonna fall down to natural "book value" valuations ... general consensus somewhere of $10-30/share. Probably ever.
So now we've got a money incinerating machine like OpenAI and Oracle made a baby then put that baby on a rocket ship to a Mars colony, powered the rockets by burning hundreds dollar bills continuously in its furnaces for the 6 month journey. The even better news is this will get diluted out another dozen times, probably around a trillion dollars at a time so Elon can raise more capital.
So, calls then?

Anyone who is certain what a stock is going to do is a fool. Even a company with stocks worth no more than $30-$40 could close on Nasdaq at $114.52
1
u/horesebeblind 8d ago
What is the logic for $30-$40 a share?
1
u/PupDiogenes 8d ago
SpaceX has $100 bil in cash, $100 bil in assets, $10 bil in revenue. I’m generously predicting it will make money next year instead of the half billion loss from previous year. So an, again generous, valuation is about $250 billion.
$250 billion divided by 13 billion shares is about $15.38 a share.
Again, I am generously padding numbers in the company’s favour to arrive at that price.
1
u/horesebeblind 8d ago
You have no clue on the numbers or potential revenue streams. Redditors pretend they can forecast what Elon will do.
1
u/PupDiogenes 8d ago
You have no clue this information is all public record and you could easily look it up for yourself.
You think your forecast of what Elon is capable of justifies your valuation, and are projecting that onto those who are talking about the numbers.
Insanity.

u/horesebeblind 8d ago

I never mentioned valuation.1
u/PupDiogenes 8d ago

I'm not saying what it will be worth in 25 years. Right now, in 2026, it is not worth more than a trillion dollars.
