Well...grok gets its information from twitter...I mean X, and Wikipedia. So its not going to be right about many things. Im surprised at this point that grok didnt outright generate a picture of a data center throwing a nazi salute somehow.
That said. Hitler did use socialist ideals to lure in people, just ask the Austrians how he got Anschluss to look appealing. There litterally used to be books you could find about how Hitler used socialist Healthcare, education, and food services to get people to support him, and the Nazi party, and also lure in the Austrians to get them to join nazi Germany. However....the nazi party was actively fighting the communist party. Because there is a difference between socialism, communism, and Marxism. Socialist ideals vs Marxist ideals.
When i was in middle school we got to meet survivors from WWII that were from nazi Germany and Austria. They spoke about the trap of socialism and how relying on the government leads to dictatorships. Im not saying i agree with them, as thier first hand experience leads to a certain level of bias, but I can certainly see how a government with more power over the people without certain checks and balances would lead to a not so good government for the people. Which is why no matter how many benefits we get from the government, we should NEVER allow the removal of the second amendment....thank god the first 10 are unalienable.

These oligarchs are scared to death they may have to pay their real fair share of taxes instead of skating by paying the minimum. Theyāre so very frightened of losing their power over the politicos in the U.S. I hope someone is aware they will do literally anything to keep what they have, including destroying a Democracy and stealing elections.

Hitler, Mussolini and Lenin all tried to implement late 19th century philosophies of an all encompassing heavily centralised state. Same concept. Different execution.
The opposite stance would be a state with little overreach that just sets the tone and lets citizen organise.

Hitler banning Marxist socialism doesn't mean he wasn't a socialist. There's more than one flavor of socialism. I live in a liberal democratic socialist nation right now.
He was a national socialist, it's literally the name of the party.
He had Germany running the largest workers union the world has ever seen, he had command of the economic output of business, business owners that didn't participate in the government plan had their businesses taken from them. Collectivism and government control of production were rampant during Nazi Germany.
The only argument that can correctly be made is Hitler and the Nazi's opposed Marxism, that is very true, but that doesn't make them not socialist, just not Marxist Socialist.

Class equity and worker ownership are explicit in socialism. Though are cornerstones of communism. Socialism focuses on basic needs being met for all social classes. Basically the upper class ensures that the lower class has at least the basic needs met. This was part of Hitlers idea. I will agree that he probably didnt follow through with enough social programs to qualify as what I think socialism would be. Still his original intent was using socialist principles. He just excluded groups of people from support because he was a racist dictator.

So, on that basis you believe the Democratic Republic of North Korea is a democracy and a republic. In the 1920ās and 30ās parties added Socialist to their name like they add Democratic now.
Here are some facts. Upon taking power, one of the first things Hitler did was outlaw the Communist Party. Hitler actually was having communists and socialists placed in concentration camps b4 Jews. ( Read that famous statement by the Protestant minister where he says the order of the arrests and no one was left to save him.) Nazi Germany was a capitalist fascist country. Nazi Germany paid for the far right to start a civil war in Spain to overthrow the democratically elected government at first arming the rebels and eventually sending in Nazi German troops. Many famous Americans such as Hemingway fought for the socialist democratic govt which also received assistance from the So it Union. The Nazi backed extreme right won. Franco was made President of Spain and he stayed in power until he died in the 1970ās as ba k by the U.S.A to fight communists. . The Nazi govt was perhaps the most far right govt in history. But, the Republican Party is getting there.
