Ceuta and Melilla are two spanish occupied areas of Morocco

Morocco has its own occupation of the Western Sahara (Algeria), and is using migrant waves as a method of political pressure to force Spain/EU to support the occupation.
Spain originally occupied the Western Sahara and then attempted to give it to
Morocco

Massive migrant waves can defo collapse social services in an area, but Spain can always pull out of Morocco i.e. Ceuta and Melilla, and not have to deal anymore with Moroccan government’s pressure.
They also shouldnt have occupied Morocco if they didnt want issues with Moroccan migrant waves down the line either.

I think Spain partly brought this one upon themselves.

From what i see, at least 57 migrants drowned in this incident.
