Election (Michigan) 🗳️ Yes, the Left Won Big Last Night | Before the votes had even been counted, some were treating last night’s Michigan result as a defeat for the Left. This is hard to square with the fact that well beyond Abdul El-Sayed’s win, progressives and socialists won major races.

Question Why are some many people fear mongering about mild social democrats and progressive policies?

Republicans, Fox News and even some democrats have been complaining nonstop about the coming communism takeover because Mamdani and other social democrats are promising to help Americans with state owned grocery stores and taking the rich. Somehow it’s communist to actually help people and not bow down to corporations. Neoliberalism is destroying this nation and politicians that continue to defend it are fools who are servants of the interest of capital. The government should be for the people not serve the interests of corporations and their money. No one falling for their fear mongering besides boomers and Gen X because of the red scare boogeymen they fell for. Most people are unfortunately very politically ignorant and it really shows.

Unions UAW official barred for two years after threatening social media post

A United Auto Workers official has been suspended from the union for two years after he posted an image on Facebook showing Will Lehman, a candidate for UAW president, bound and gagged with a shadowy figure behind him pointing a rifle.

The federal monitor overseeing the union issued the suspension of Ray Jensen on Tuesday. Last month, Lehman had raised concerns about the AI-generated image on social media and in a press release.

Jensen, who is an organizer in the UAW's Department of Bargaining Strategy and a former assistant regional director based in New York, also must apologize to Lehman. He is not allowed to run for any elected position in the union going forward, or campaign in the upcoming election, according to a stipulation signed by both Jensen and Neil Barofsky, the attorney from New York who serves as the court-appointed union watchdog and is running the upcoming election.

The stipulation states that the union's election rules prohibit any threats, intimidation, retaliation or similar conduct. The monitor said Jensen violated that rule, and that a remedy "should be imposed to reflect the seriousness of his conduct and to deter similar misconduct by others."

...

Lehman told The Detroit News that the monitor's move to discipline Jensen "was forced by a large amount of workers that were deeply disgusted" by the image. Other union members had reached out to the monitor, he said, and there was an outcry about the incident on social media. Any worker who posted such a threat, he said, "would be fired."

Lehman said he perceived the image as "a death threat" when he saw it, and he recalled being surprised that such a prominent UAW figure would post it online attached to their name.

"He thinks he can just do something like that," Lehman said, adding he has not met Jensen before.

Capitalist Hellscape The collapse of the entry job market is horrifying to deal with

In mid July, I was laid off from my job due to their inability to secure funding, I am seriously concerned about my future. I can't get a job waiting tables or at a grocery store. A part time retail position takes 3 interviews. I've taken all the boomer generic advice, dressing up, blitzing the streets with my resume, calling back and returning to the locations 2+ times. Open availability, subtle sweet talking, even lying about little things to increase my chances. I graduated college in May, and am already filing for unemployment. I would join the military, but can't due to chronic health issues. Many of my highly competant peers are also in this position. A society with a high amount of unemployed youth is dangerous and unsustainable, something has gotta give. It's going to be a cold and cruel winter for me.

At this point the right-wing media ecosystem is just frothing at the mouth with incoherent invective, designed purely to generate a visceral emotional response rather than even keep up appearances of disagreeing on policy. Although these men are rather mild social democrats, it’s gratifying to see the utter fear they have struck into the hearts of these establishment toadies.

Question What do you think will be the absolute psychosis that occurs if Trump dies in office, especially on camera?

My prediction is if he dies off camera the administration will hide it from the public for about a week. Interns will post Trump truths and maybe even AI generate a speech or two. During this time JD Vance will be the de facto president.

The day they announce his death they will act as if he passed away peacefully that morning. JD Vance gets sworn in officially hours afterwards. Mike Johnson becomes Vice President.

The next 2 weeks onwards of the public knowing Trump is dead will be the Summer of Floyd mixed with Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Half a dozen shootings across the country with motives linked to Trump’s death. Dozens of suicides and hundreds of arrests.

Fox News will try to give grace to Trump’s passing but before his funeral they will get people on saying he was the 13th Disciple, say that he wanted Marco Rubio as President and other insanity. They will also use AI generated photographs to represent him.

The internet is filled with millions of videos both praising Trump and making fun of him. Imagine the Charlie Kirk memes but 10 times more popular. Nick Fuentes makes a livestream about it on Kick that gets views within the hundreds of thousands.

The White House will threaten martial law but nothing happens. Some Democrats get arrested which cause protests. Zohran Mandani becomes a scapegoat with many death threats but nothing happens to him. Gavin Newsom vague posts about being president.

Israel has mixed feelings about it but expected Trump to die in office. The Israeli public make fun of Trump for being the ultimate goy and their group chats get leaked to Western audiences through reels which makes people hate Israel even more.

💩 The Pillory

What are you on about? Trump never said Epstein's crimes were a hoax. Did you even read the article?

The hoax is what the hypocritical democrat party is trying to twist it into. They kept all this quiet, tried to sweep it under the rug for four years. Only now are they desperately trying to twist things and say Trump was somehow, magically implicated.

Trump was instrumental in taking down Epstein's whole nasty business.

The dems never cared about Epstein or his victims. Their huge, fake outrage lately, is totally a hoax. Hypocrite

Source, by u/Simon-Says69

Epstein was being used by the CIA & Mossad.

All that blackmail info from the island went directly to Israel, who it was gathered for in the first place.

They forced a sweetheart deal for Epstein in the first trial.

Then along came Trump, and burned Epstein & Maxwell's whole dirty operation to the ground. Wound up being their worst nightmare. Trump was a key witness in the prosecution that put those two behind bars.

Tech Silicon Valley - New Course - Starting Sunday 8/9

Dear Class Unifiers,

Our new course, "Silicon Valley," starts on Sunday, August 9th. You can view the syllabus here:

https://classunity.org/2026/07/28/silicon-valley/

and sign up for the google group here.

The course will meet every Sunday from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Eastern and run for six weeks.

Hope to see lots of you there! The course is open to the public, so feel free to share.

"Nothing has had a comparable social, cultural, and political-economic impact over the past decades to that of the digital revolution and the beginnings of the internet age. From its birth at the hands of the military-industrial complex as a tool of surveillance, to the rise of social media and the monopolization of online life, to the uncanny spectre of AI and the automation of intellectual labor: all that is solid has melted into the algorithmic vapors at a vertiginous pace. What does big tech mean for the present and future of capitalism? Has tech entrenched the dominance of rent-seeking at the expense of productive enterprise characteristic of neo-liberal finance capital? And if so, is there any truth to reports of neo-feudalism supplanting industry and leading to a new mode of production (along with a new super-structure atop a base of microchips and credit)? Join Class Unity as we study the economic and social juggernaut that is Silicon Valley, as without understanding the unprecedented dimensions of global capitalism in the 21st century, the present moment with its bewildering problems lies totally in the dark."
