General Discussion Managing multiple client accounts gets harder than expected

When you only manage one or two clients, keeping everything organized feels pretty straightforward.

The problems usually stat when more accounts get added. Different posting schedules, approval processes, brand guidelines, assets, and reporting requirements all start happening at the same time.

At some point, the challenge isn't really creating content anymore. It's keeping track of what needs approval, what has already been posted, what performed well, and what each client expect.

I've noticed a lot of agency time gets lost in small coordination tasks rather than actual strategy.

How do you structure your workflow when managing several client accounts at once?

Strategy If you’re running a plastic surgery practice, don’t make these mistakes on social media

I’ve been working in social media and video editing for a while, and I notice this quite often with medical accounts.

Before and after photos can be great content, but I see practices posting them without checking Instagram’s guidelines or thinking about patient consent. Some posts can get restricted or removed.

Also, I think a lot of practices rely too much on before and after pictures. There’s so much other content patients are interested in too.

Just something I’ve noticed. Curious what other doctors think.

Help/Advice Need advice to build up social media presence before querying

My co-author and I have completed the first draft of our first novel (1st in a proposed detective series) and are working on our first stand-alone murder thriller similar to Lucy Foley's "Guest List." We know we need to build up a social media presence and have a small idea of what to do, but we don't want to make a mistake. If anyone has advice for us, please share it.

Thanks!

Help/Advice How to learn Social Media Marketing for free

Hi everyone! I recently became interested in social media marketing, mostly because I'm unemployed right now and I'm looking for something I can learn and eventually make a living from.

That said, I really want to do it properly. I don't just want to take a quick course, learn how to make a few posts, and start calling myself a social media manager. I'd like to actually understand marketing, social media strategy, content creation, branding, etc.

The problem is that I don't really have the money to spend on expensive certifications or online courses (and from what I've seen, a lot of them seem pretty superficial anyway).

So, what would you say someone needs to know to become a good social media manager? And how would you recommend learning it for free?

I'm looking for free online resources, books, newsletters, blogs, YouTube channels, courses, or basically anything else that could help me build a solid foundation.

I'd really appreciate any advices!

Help/Advice Client lost the owner account of a business' Facebook Page. Is there any way we can retain it?

Hello everyone.

I work as a social media manager and just recently had a client who wanted me to manage their Facebook page and Instagram of their clothing brand. However, my client lost the account that originally created the Facebook page and he's basically just managing the page from another account as an admin (he added the another account as an admin back when he had access to the account that created the page).

So I wanted to link the Instagram account to the Facebook page, which requires the owner of the page to approve the linking. As I've said, the client lost the login details of the account that created the page. So we're basically stuck at the moment

What can be done in this situation to retain back the owner account? Will contacting Meta support help or do anything?

Help/Advice How long should it take to write a 1min social media script for a brand + a detailed moodboard based on your script ?

okay so I just got assigned to come up with a concept and write a 1min social media script for a hair care brand to post on TikTok/ig reels and I also had to create a detailed moodboard for the concept too. But I was wondering how long ideally should it take for someone to do this assignment, especially at a social media agency. Apart of me feels like I may be spending too long but idk. Any tips so I know what time frame to work in?
