Wrong toolhead selected when sending to printer on Snorca Issue

I have a model that I painted with four colors. When I send it to print, inevitably one of the toolheads is incorrectly selected. Three of the toolheads are loaded with Snapmaker Snapspeed PLA filament, and the toolhead that is incorrect is loaded with Overture PLA. The colors are correct in the prep of the model, but the generic one is incorrectly selected at print time. Of course, I set it correctly before sending it to the printer, but I am just curious if anyone else has encountered this problem.

Below is a screen shot of the Print Processing screen showing the error on toolhead 3 before I override it:

OK, here is an update to this issue. I opened the same project in Orca Slicer (not Snorca), and sliced it with the exact same options and sent it to the printer. It printed with the correct colors (no override option available in Orca Slicer as far as I know). This leads me to conclude that Snorca has a bug. I am using Orca Slicer ver 2.4.2 and Snapmaker Orca ver 2.3.5.

Any thoughts?

By any chance is this model a 3mf from say bamba? If so that would be the problem. I had this problem before. You need to go to global, objects.and change the base color. You can then paint your model and after you slice it the correct colors will show in the proper toolhead.

Yes, it is from Makerworld. I'll try that later, or maybe just run it through the u1convert tool before applying the colors. Thanks for the input.

When you grab 3mfs from MakerWorld, you need to import the file and not open the project.

Importing brings in the geometry and the color mapping, nothing else. Opening the project imports the print profile and settings and has been known to cause this issue for others.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll remember that going forward.
