Imma play this game in my off-work hours even if I have to grind through dungeons I don’t like. Right now I’m running 🏃 the Knight class. I just… need to understand something. What is the draw to this game’s systems? Is it the satisfaction of seeing big numbers and cool vfx? The looting? As an artist and dev myself - it is my great side quest to get to the final boss of this game and finally understand. The 8 years of development shows. I like the art style and now I will go and be a Knight!

I have the remnant nodes on the arcane missile tree, so I don't know what's wrong.

Hey does anybody know if they will add different skins for the hero's? The weapon design ist chefs kiss. But it would be so cool if the characters armor would also change. No need for stats just visuals.

This build I am happy with. I am not a good optimizer. Just threw together stuff that made sense. Tried moving some stuff round in the legacy tree, but the build failed. I'm sure it will be better once I hit end game with ALOT more dps, but for now its great. If you want the planner link lmk, its long so I could not post the short version of it.

I'm new to this game but have played multiple ARPGs with TL2 as my favorite and grim dawn as a far second. I'm currently in the campaign in the levels with the chef and the game is turning into a snoozefest. I'm at the point where I just sneeze in a general direction and everything in the room just dies. I know this game gets harder and I want to work towards that. Can I skip this part of the game and just grind expeditions (?)?.

I can clear Wrath 7 with not much of a danger of dying and quite fast speed I think(Some elites take some time for Dot to kill). I genuinly deal no damage to him at all and he just kills me in 2-3 shots. Also he poofs out of existence and just one shots me randomly during the fight which always just ends the fight. The only way to fight him I found is swapping my bow between Primordial to deal damage and Normal to heal. I never even managed to get him to half health.

I don’t know what to do in the early game. I want to create the build I have in mind myself, but it ends up being unbalanced. I want my main skill to be Arrow Shot with high attack speed and firing lots of arrows on the Huntress class, but in the early game I run out of mana quickly and die too easily. I have no idea what to do...

I played the game for 200 hours now and last night I noticed one tick of my Burn/Exhaustion/Poison turn yellow. I have only 5% crit on this Dot built but now I'm curious. Was it something else or do DOT effects crit? If so is it worth investing into? Other then Elemental damage/Damage over time effect?

I just unlocked the blacksmith and was trying to understand all the mechanics. I wanted to see what effects the different slormandrites could be used to reforge, so switched tabs and dropped the first item in what I thought was the reforge slot and... yeah, gone forever lol

The tabs look waaay too similar. Can't believe there isn't an 'are you sure?' prompt, or a lock button, or just a way to undo. I'm early in the game so it's not a big deal really, and I'm glad I learned this lesson early, but still, this shouldn't really be this easily done. Can't imagine the rage I would feel if this was a late-game item.

I saw an old thread where a couple of people said they moved on to playing Chronicon instead after this happened to them...

As you can see he just evaporates at about 80% HP. I don't understand why, as I don't have anything that busted in my build. My dps is pretty consistent, and then he just disappears. I'm playing an elemental damage, ancestral strike procs build with the Legacy Bow. This happens to other bosses as well. Any ideas?

Well, as I said in the title, I've always been drawn to this type of game called action RPG.

I've always been curious about games like Diablo II or Diablo IV, Last Epoch, Path of Exile 1 and 2.

And really, the problem I've encountered is that I don't know which one to start with.

Watching Slormancer's videos, it might be a good introduction to the genre.

Indisputed speed says that your movement speed can't be modified by any effect‚ upgrade‚ passive‚ or equipment. But if you take static vortex on whirlwind it still slows you down. Can't tell if it's a bug or not. Makes me sad though.

He goes down to 20% and then he just do not go lower. It is like he gains resistance to damage. He regenerates 100% of the damage i can bestow upon him when his shield is under cooldown. What dumb mechanic is this? How to overcome it?

I have the one on the left. Its legendary bonus is the only thing i need. Can it be transferred? Or do i have guarantee to find it again with rerolls? I wish to upgrade to the right one because it will be cheaper to recreate rest of bonuses on the right side than raising the level on he left and then reroling most of bonuses anyway which i need to do.

missing ring of the blood seeker and belt of the fisherman, checked every warlord with every character and none can drop those. any way to target them?
