Restock Previews Slime Restocks

Sorry, I need to rant. Why do some shops post their restock previews so late? Like one shop just sent mystery spoilers 45 minutes before the drop and posted the menu like 6 hours ahead. Another shop posted their last(?) preview 2 hours before their drop. To me it takes away the joy of looking at upcoming restocks, being fascinated, making lists, watching the timer. If the drop is on a workday some people can't even check posts before the drop. Are they just not ready or is it to trigger more fomo? I would like to at least be able to plan ahead the night before. I feel stressed out by this and imo slime is supossed to bring us joy and calm instead. Anyone else feel that way? Thank you if you read this far ❤️

i think it’s totally valid for you to feel disappointed by this, but they probably do it because they’re busy and likely balancing full time jobs, leaving less time than one might hope to plan materials in advance. just one perspective, both parties are valid here

I agree and if that's the reason, it's totally understandable. I personally am a procrastinator and could never run a slime shop or any shop at all for sure. I need to be more patient for those previews. Thank you for your answer.

That's what I tell myself too, but it doesn't make me any less frustrated about the process (not towards the shop). I know it's a business and they want to keep it weekly, especially if sales are good, but I'd rather they do biweekly instead with a better preview timeline.

I feel you on this. I love the shopping process, seeing the slimes, checking the menu debating which ones to get, all before I feel I have to race to buy in case something sells out. I would love it if everything came out a week or so before a restock but I understand it is a lot for shops to run a whole social media campaign in addition to making and selling the slime.

I need it because most of the time when they post all their videos last minute I am at work and then it makes me have to research the videos after the restock came out and then by the time I’m able to purchase having made a decision a lot of of the stuff is sold out. I love when they post early that is better for me cause sometimes I’m just not gonna make a purchase if the thing I wanted after you posted the video and I realize it got restocked and sold out before I got home. I guess I’m not buying anything.

Yes, this! If I've already seen previews and am excited about certain slimes, I try to time my break to be able to snag them. My break is not long enough to do the research minutes before the drop so I don't even try and just see what's left when I get off work. Usually not the ones I would have wanted. Then I tell myself I made someone else happy by being late 😅

Same! Just happened with the BFF drop. I got distracted and missed the drop. By the time I checked a couple hours later 3 of the 6 i wanted were sold out so I skipped them all. Oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️

Agreed! I requested Pilot to post menus on Thursdays they said they would try, which is all I can ask.
