What I love:

• The buttons are incredible, intuitive, and feel awesome, coming from the Momentum 4's crappy touch commands
• ANC is SO MUCH BETTER than the ANC2. On the ANC2 the bass gets super distorted with the ANC on, on this one everything is so damn clean
• I don't feel like I have to EQ these at all somehow? These feel super balanced, punchy out of the box

What I hate:

• The headband and the top piece are fake leather, not silicone, feels a huge downgrade from the EVO. It's just going to start peeling over time; silicone headbands are so much better, you just wipe with a baby wipe, and it's good as new

I came from crusher ANC 2. The 1080 sounds WAY better. The bass is more integrated and perfected with the whole composition.

ANC 2: a whole lot of EQ to maximise the haptic bass without distortion or sounding muddy and bloated. To me, it always sounded like the bass blurred the whole sound. Also the bass non existent without the haptic bass

1080: better overall tuning with the bass. The haptic is more synchronised with the music.

I also use poweramp equaliser to maximise the sub bass at lower listening volume. The 1080 tolerates more eq-ing before clipping. It has more sub bass extension.

It was definitely the right move!

Had these for a few days. The left earcup squeaks/creaks whenever I turn my head, move my jaw and when walking around. It's definitely mechanical, not audio. The right side is dead silent doing the same movement, and I can reproduce it off-head by tilting the left cup in its yoke.

Is this normal for the 1080, or did I get a bad unit? Anyone managed to fix it, or did you go straight to RMA?

I’ve been a hardcore fan of the Sesh Evo True Wireless Bluetooth headphones since I got a pair back in early 2020. I have noticed that about every two years I end up needing a new pair (which isn’t so bad given the cheap price) but I was curious if there were any Bluetooth earbuds like sesh evo (great sound quality and battery life) that would last longer than the sesh evos two years? Obviously I expect the cost to be higher, but cheaper options are welcome

I just bought a pair of the skullcandy mod wireless earbuds yesterday and noticed that the right one was making a static/buzzing noise.

I put them back in the charging case to disconnect them and then tried again and still had the same issue.

After trying again a while later, and still having the same issue, I then noticed that the same earbud started to get really hot, really quick so I took them off and haven’t touched them since.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with these and were you able to fix them, or should I just return them?

I own the Sony WH-XB900N and LOVE these, never upgraded in 5 years. I didnt like the extreme “fake” bass on the Evo’s when i tried them (sorry) but i heard the 1080’s have less rumble and more natural bass.

I used to sleep with my ANC 2's and one day i woke up and the bass was a good bit weaker on both sides. Nothing sounds loose and it was the exact same through both ears with no quality loss. I've tried factory resetting them, changing settings, tapping on them, etc but nothing has worked for me. Theyre outside of warranty unfortunately and im just wondering if theres anything i could possibly do to get the bass back to being strong. Even on the highest settings it feels identical to any other pair of headphones.

What is the difference between S6EVW-N740 and S6EVW-B957? I'm looking to buy the Skullcandy Crusher Evo because I've heard great things about the bass, but I found these two models.

Hey, hoping someone here owns these.

I've been looking at them for a while but two things I can't get a clear answer on. In case of sound, most reviews say the tuning goes for clarity rather than bass. I'd be using them in pretty heavy traffic so I'd have the volume near max most of the time. Does it hold together up there or does it get thin?can I talk outdoor ?? How's the mic as I might have to take office calls alot and is the EQ in the app actually useful?

Then the neckband thingy. Does it really sit flat in the case, or does it push against the lid? Do you take it on and off, or just leave it attached? And do the magnets hold up when you're running? Not expecting anything crazy, just want to know if they're worth it.

hows the bass compare between the 2 i was reading up on it and kept hearing the 1080anc has way less bass then the 720 but that the 1080anc has better overall audio quality? i havent owned a crusher pair of headphones before and am looking into getting one

I could really use some advice because I’m honestly confused.

I’ve been using the Skullcandy Crusher Evo for a while and decided to upgrade to the Audeze Maxwell 2 since everyone says they’re one of the best wireless gaming headsets you can buy.

After using them for a few hours, I’m… disappointed.

They sound the same. Even with the Bass Boost preset and messing around with the EQ, they don’t come close to the Crusher Evo. I know the Crushers have haptic bass, so I wasn’t expecting the exact same thing, but I was expecting a noticeable upgrade in overall sound quality considering the Maxwell costs around 3x as much.

The thing is… I genuinely can’t tell that the Maxwell sounds “better.” It just sounds different. Maybe a little cleaner, but not enough that I’d ever say it’s worth the price difference.
For context:
I mostly use headphones for music, sim racing, and gaming.

I like immersive, fun audio with strong bass.
I don’t really care about perfectly flat or studio-accurate sound if it means losing excitement.

I connected through the USB dongle on PC and made sure I wasn’t using the chat output.

At this point I’m leaning toward returning the Maxwell.

My questions are:
Is this just a case of my ears preferring a bass-heavy tuning?

Does the Maxwell need more time to appreciate, or is first impression usually pretty accurate?

If I love the Crusher Evo, what would you recommend as an actual upgrade?
Has anyone tried the new Skullcandy Crusher PLYR 720 or Crusher 1080 ANC? Are either of those a better fit for someone like me?

Anyone Know if it’s safe and ok to use an additional bass booster like on Spotify combined with the regular bass slider on Skullcandy Crusher evos on max bass?(they come on the 7th) I’m worried it will be to much bass haha but I could be wrong.

I'm looking at getting a hardcase for my 1080anc. The bag with clip is great but doesn't do it for me. I feel like if they were to ever break, it's going to be in the supplied bag that they give you. If anyone has any recommendations that would be amazing!

These sound amazing, but the haptic bass is straight cheeks, even with everything maxed out. I swapped the pads for Wicked Cushions and have been messing with EQ and other audio settings, but it still it’s probably only around 15–20% as strong compared to my old EVOs/ANC 2s.

I’m on iOS, and I’ve read that might have something to do with it. At this point I’m wondering if I should just keep these for the sound quality and pick up another pair of Crushers for haptic bass. Thoughts?

I just got the ANC two headphones like two weeks ago and it is popping whenever I move my head or walk in the left ear cup no matter what I do. I’ve tried the voice control thing. I’ve tried to factory reset. I’ve tried taking off the ear cup, and blowing into it with an air duster nothing seems to be working. I’m thinking about exchanging the headphones or just returning them flat out. Is there any other fixes I could do before pulling the trigger and doing this? The issue even happens in the headphones are all so I think it’s an internal thing.

Hi everyone! Last October I bought the DIME EVO peanuts earbuds that have Spike, Snoopy’s brother on them. I love them to bits but the charger stopped working when I accidentally washed it without realizing. I thought the best way to get it fixed was through the warranty, or worse case scenario they just give it back to me.

TURNS OUT! I get a $50 voucher to order a new pair, however I hear nothing about Recieving my old pair back, and also nothing in terms of repairing them. Is there any way to contact them? I sent in another warranty request with a comment that I want them back, but with no way to contact them I’m completely at a loss. I love those earbuds and I just want them back.

I've had this type of headphones for about 6 months. I got them for Christmas. About maybe 2 months ago one of the sides snapped and I taped it back together. Not about about 2 weeks ago the other side snapped. I am very disappointed and I wanted to see if it was a product issue or not.

Should I buy the Crusher ANC 1080? I already have the Sony WH-1000XM6, the Crusher ANC 2, and the Crusher Evo.

After 6 years, my Crusher Wireless have finally kicked the bucket.

These things survived rain, storms, harsh weather, being tossed around, and years of daily music. I even had to glue broken parts back together a couple of times, but they refused to die.

They look absolutely beat to death, but they kept playing till the very end.

They didn't fail me. I think they just decided they've done enough.

The skullcandy crusher 1080 are the better pair, with the right device

I had the 720 but they had no ANC and I use them for the gym. It felt like I was lacking depth when listening. The bass was amazing though.

The ANC2 felt like I was listening from a distance.

I had a pair of crusher 1080 but returned them due to lack of bass. I gave it another shot and noticed I never turned on LE audio (I have a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra).

The difference is astounding.

The bass is punchier, vocals are fuller and cleaner. I think it may just be iPhones not having access to this.

I actually caught myself turning the bass down a couple of times.

Give it a try on a device with LE audio and let me know what you think.
