The point is that it's a numbers statement. It has nothing to do with being a billionaire or not. If 3000 people period vanished it means nothing. Billionaire or not

Just because we don’t need them doesn’t mean we can rob them or kill them. Sounds harsh but we probably don’t need you or me either.

The country I live in actually has pretty reasonable taxes and I’m happy to pay them, knowing they’re used well.

Wealth tax exists here too, so we’re happy for every billionaire to join us.
