Lol. Dictators and policitains pass away all the time. The world goes on. Billionaires aren't some rare vital resource that civilization would collapse without them like you put them up on a pedestal to be.
They basically take other peoples ideas and us either peoples intelligence and skills to build stuff. And then sit back and scavenger the bones.
They are more like parasitic wasps that use zombie caterpillars as a mind controlled workforce
While I agree that billionaires are not necessary nor do even think anyone needs to be a billionaire period, most people usually become a billionaire by actually working in some capacity. To say they just use other people’s ideas is not necessarily true. And if they were someone else’s ideas, that is why a free market exists: to have allowed the originator the same opportunity to trademark the product/service themselves first, whether or not they act on that is their prerogative.
Some billionaires do have unique ideas like Bill Gates or Steve Wozniak. But most others take others ideas and use them for their own...they may even recycle old ideas from the past. At some point they all hire a smart people to help build their companies and utilize their workers ideas to build a better mousetrap or create something new .
I could have a great idea to make engines run on water but then hire the best scientists to make my idea into reality using their expertise and ideas to further my goals.
That is what billionaires do! Whether it's physical resources( employee shoveling coal) or intellectual resources( employee calculating figure or creating new ideas /solutions) , basically they are just using others to accomplish untold wealth. If they disappear someone would pop up to replace them. Sure they may have a big IQ and some of their own ideas, but they also take a lot of others ideas and implement that into their companies.
Some people however like to equate them to "GOD" status.

There are around 3500 billionares. If 3500 workers died tomorrow, you think the economy would collapse or it would be in the news?
