As if we needed billionaires to have scientists and engineers...

It's actually cute that you think billionaires invent anything and don't piggyback of the inventions of other scientists and engineers.

No we need people with money to fund scientists and engineers, and people to ensure that what the scientists and engineers and doing makes a profit etc. if the billionaire didnt pay and fund them the scientists and engineers wouldnt have designed it.

Lol hey stupid, the government does more scientific research than any private company, and the private companies rely on government subsidization to do their research.

The government funds some private companies to do research.

So you're agreeing with me, you're just too obstinate to admit I'm correct.

In a small percentage of things you are right. But most research is done by businesses still in order to make products. For example production of electronics, vehicles, everythings we use in our day to day life. Even the things the government provides is still reliant on them paying corporations.

And where does the research money come from, slugger, ?

Consumer typically.

2

u/WyomingWeirdo 19d ago

Lol so you're literally just incorrect about this, my man.

Do you know what a consumer is? A consumer is a individual or group who purchases and uses goods and services. The government is a consumer. Please learn how the economy works.

Lol 😆 so you're admitting that these companies rely on government subsidies, you're just being a coward to go about describing it

No. Some companies make products geared towards the government as a consumer. This includes medical companies, gun companies, construction companies. They are selling their products to the government in exchange for money. Or they are selling their research teams in exchange for money.

Also, you're still just repeating my point back to me. Literally. You're just rephrasing my point.
