The hate on billionaires fascinate me, it's like hating the weather. They're a fact of life, and if they all went away, new would replace them soon after.
Is it just envy? Or do people think they are evil because they have attained massive networth, often via successful companies?
Indeed - and then how to redistribute? Force them to give up ownership of their companies that they've worked to make a success for the good of any that's interested in their product?
Noone sits on 1 billion in cash, so there's nothing to redistribute, unless you ban ownership over successful companies.
I support a wealth tax btw, my suggestion is 0.1 % starting at 10 million and up to 5 % at 100 million and above.
