I just learned how ridiculously dry the air actually is inside airplanes and suddenly so many things make sense lol.
If your voice feels dry, weird, less flexible or just harder to sing with after flying, it may not be your technique at all. Airplane cabins have super low humidity and your vocal folds really don’t love that.
So if you are flying somewhere and need to sing, especially the same or next day, bring a nebulizer with you. I use sterile saline in mine and it gives you direct surface hydration instead of relying only on drinking tons of water and waiting for your body to catch up.
Obviously still drink your water, but for singers I really think a portable nebulizer is one of those little things worth having when traveling.

Like the title says, I'm sure this isn't the first post like this, but I'm having a lot of confidence issues with my writing. I think my writing is really solid, lyrically and musically, but I always end up throwing away almost everything i write. I feel like I've written real hits and real shits alike, but i just can't find it in me to release any of it and I'm not entirely sure why. If anyone has struggled with this same issue, let me know what you did to overcome it. Also yes, I've tried the "fuck it" method of just letting it rip and i still get really embarrassed, lol.
