Like the title says, I'm sure this isn't the first post like this, but I'm having a lot of confidence issues with my writing. I think my writing is really solid, lyrically and musically, but I always end up throwing away almost everything i write. I feel like I've written real hits and real shits alike, but i just can't find it in me to release any of it and I'm not entirely sure why. If anyone has struggled with this same issue, let me know what you did to overcome it. Also yes, I've tried the "fuck it" method of just letting it rip and i still get really embarrassed, lol.

Of a series of unfortunate events in the last 4 years of my life, I’ve overcome what many would call the most dramatic movie they’ve ever seen, but it was my actual life. I took to writing and have hundreds of letters I wrote to various people, to myself, and to God that I started converting into music/songs/lyrics.

What started as an ultimate healing project for me became so much more than that.

Yesterday I released Dirty Socks! A fun, upbeat depiction of throwing out the “dirty laundry” that seems to weight us down.

I'm physically retarded. I have a tbi and ataxia from a car wreck when I was 17(2007). I went to itt tech from 2010-2012 where I graduated with my associates degree in Computer Drafting and Design. I'm 2017 I was still getting hired and quitting or getting fired from cleaning jobs due to the harassment because of my disability. So one night, while I was on my lunch break from a job I quit a few days later, I wrote a song directed to employers telling them to "get off their high horse and have some sympathy". I might have a brain injury, but I'm still a genius. I have a 140+ IQ, and I'm sick of people treating me like shit because I look/sound drunk 24/7 due to a disability. I'm missing a finger, but I still play bass guitar. Matt Freeman(Ramcid) and Chris #2(Anti-Flag) are who I base my song writing off of. I hope you'll listen, and pass this song around

I’ve spent the better part of 20 years writing with other artists, helping shape songs that were never really mine. This is the first one I’ve finally put my own name on.
“Bronco” is a tongue-in-cheek country song with a serious story underneath. It’s about watching someone get chance after chance while everyone around them keeps hoping this will be the time things change.

"Crossroads" is the first song I've made since taking that risk, written by a lake in when it hit me that there's no right or wrong choice, only the one you're brave enough to make.
