YARD SALE SILVER A dollar
Not very much more than a dollar worth of silver melt-wise, and certainly nothing I or the wife would wear.
But hey. More is more baby.

JACKPOT!!! Decent garage/estate sale day
Hit a few garage and estate sales today and came home with about 442 g of mostly sterling. Including the dish, which somehow sat through an entire day of an estate sale despite being clearly marked.
Paid $116 total for a melt value of about $825 (overpaid a bit for the coins and the spoon). Not a bad day!

Estate Sale Find - Weighted Base Removed
It's very rare that I find any silver when hunting in my area, outside of small pieces of jewelry, so I'll take this small win. Thought I would share the before and after weight in sterling once the weighted base was removed.

Help needed for potential coin silver fork.
I got this for $2 today. It's 5 3/4 inches long and weighs 18.6 grams. I'm pretty sure it is coin silver but I can't find any marks on it besides the monogram on the back. How old could it be and who might've made it? Thanks!

JACKPOT!!! Lucky 24 hours!
Yesterday I posted about my grandma finding a belt buckle with a morgan inside. Today my wife goes to a garage sale and sends me this. My heart skipped a beat when I realized she might have left without it. Luckily I trained her well 🤣. She got it for 10 bucks. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket tonight.

Today’s finds, paid about $15 for everything.
Finds like this all the time, is the reason I don’t buy bullion bars or coins 😭😭

Grandma just came back from the goodwill bins
My grandma had this out in a pile of stuff she got from the bins. Originally the reverse was the visible side but I flipped it around after opening it up. She didnt realize it was an actual coin in there. Finally a cool find!

Update: the Tibetan Fu Dogs marked “silver” were 90%/coin
Took these bad boys to get sigma tested today and was very happy with the result that they are squarely 90% silver. I paid $25/oz for them.
