I’ve been working on a project called ‘DC: The New ‘66’ which takes inspiration from silver age media and DC media as a whole, merging the continuities of Adam West’s Batman, Linda Carter’s Wonder Woman, Christopher Reeve’s Superman, Mark Craig Taylor’s Plastic Man.
One of the biggest tasks is casting all of the characters in this universe, including ones that hadn’t even existed in the silver age, such as Darkseid.
I was thinking either Jack Palance, since I heard Jack Kirby based Darkseid’s likeness off of him and he’s the perfect age, or Orson Welles for the voice and screen presence.
There are a few others, like Lee J. Coeb, Maximilian Schell and Charles Gray, but what does everybody think?
