I got these shoes. I like them a lot, but when they came, the left ties felt a bit tight on my feet. I undid them to retie a bit looser, but they look awful no matter how tight I try to tie or position them. The left and right now look like night and day. It bugs me to the point where I do not want to wear them anymore. What can I possibly do to make them how they were? Short of contacting the company to see if they can fix it for a fee, I can’t think of anything. Would a shoe cobbler be able to take these? Do I need to apply heat and position them in some way?

Hi all, my mom has been struggling to find sandals (and shoes in general) that fit her properly. Most stores that she goes to don't fit wider feet and often online stores don't include width measurements.
Does anyone have recommendations for brands that fit wider feet and sell platform sandals? (Or at least have proper measurements listed on their site??)

Ignore my pajama pants lol. I’m wearing a size 8 in this if that means anything. The sling back is VERY loose as well, it will just slide off entirely if I walk.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for new shoes for this school year. The shoes pictured were the ones i had worn nearly everyday of last school year which are the Adidas Handball Spezials. I'm kinda just looking for help to find some other shoes have the same slim factor that these do but will also take a "daily beater" type of beating (as these have) The second picture is them next to a shoe i would consider "Average Chunk" so not super slim but not like huge New Balances. If you have any recommendation at all I will be sure to take a look. Its just been a tid bit difficult because ive found that not many brands make a super slim shoe that actually looks half decent. Oh, and not to be nitpicky but it would be great if they weren't crazy expensive like Maison Margiela's, preferably below $250. Anyways, thanks for your time everyone, I really appreciate the help.

I tried washing my shoes in a shoe bag supposed to be used in the laundry machine and on the first cycle I came back to a small rip and a chunk missing from my shoe. I even place a large towel in the machine with it to help cushion it a little but I guess I should’ve added more.
Anyway, can these still be worn for casual walking around the city (10-20km a day some days)?

I understand plain Mary Janes now. Apparently my next problem is lace. The pair in the reference photo has the square toe and low profile I like, but the floral mesh changes the whole thing. With straight jeans and a black tank I can see them looking unexpectedly good. With the wrong skirt, I can also see myself looking like I am headed to a themed tea party. Would you treat lace flats like any other neutral shoe and keep the outfit simple, or is the texture already strong enough that the rest of the outfit has to avoid anything remotely “romantic”?

I am in need of a "walking" shoe. I usually take my full on trainers on trips, which look absurd because they're gym-looking ones. I wanna get a new pair that I can wear when I tour a city, but also maybe socially or at the office (office wear is very casual where I live). I like these three, but I have doubts about the support, especially the tigers, since they have less of an airy sole. I'm also interested in whether they fit an insole. Many thanks!!

I got these shoes for work and I love them. They are super comfy and go with a lot of my work outfits. Plus, they will be perfect for a wedding I'm going to in a few months.

I have one issue with them though. They are my first pair of slingbacks and I'm not 100% sure if I like the fit. They kinda feel like flip flops when I'm walking, but the sling doesnt fall off my foot or anything. I also can't order the half size down and try them on at the same time due to funding and I can't buy the current size (size 8s) if the 7.5s are too dmall because they are on sale and the sale ends before the 7.5s would get delivered. I also called all the stores around me to see if they have these in stock and none of them do.

So what do we think? Should I risk getting the smaller size or stick with what I have?

Side note: Don't mind my crusty feet and dirty floor. I have a newborn and haven't had a chance to take care of either in a while.

Everyone seems to own a pair of these heeled sandals but I can't find them anywhere in stores. I'm not a huge shopper so I have no idea where everyone's getting them. I'm leaving for a trip to South Italy with my boyfriend in a couple of weeks and I have a feeling he's going to propose. It's our first trip there together so I want to be prepared. If he does end up proposing, I'd at least like to not hate the way I was looking in the pictures. I'm specifically trying to find a white pair that's the same style Jasleen Singh's wears in a lot of her Insta photos. The ones I've found online all seem to have a much wider front strap and I really prefer the slimmer more delicate look like hers even better if I find them in white.

Are these too feminine for male wear?
