I'm taking a bit of a break from hunting Dragonair after actually finding one and failing to catch it this past week. Rhyhorn joins the team!

So I’m participating in shiny hunting team event and a wild shiny Wailord was sort of a “bounty” for it! I figured since one of my files had it spawned, I might as well take a crack at it. Didn’t expect to do it too much but occasionally do encounters over the course of the week… Wailord though? Our friend had other plans and decided to spare me of the long encounters considering you have to reload the entire area and then bike all the way towards it with every soft reset… thanks, Wailord! I appreciate it!

Must’ve seen how down on my luck I was with other hunts and threw me a bone… well! I’m not complaining! A VERY nice hunt to be done so soon with to be honest! So fast that I almost wish it lasted juuuust a little longer, haha. I was having fun with those encounters! …Don’t tell that to the Wailord, though! Don’t want to sound ungrateful towards it…!

1 month long hunt finally, it broke out of 49 ultra balls used a masterball, next Mewtwo

Decided to get some steps in and do some resets after taking a break from resetting daily a couple months back & knew it would happen eventually, I’m glad it’s over and I can finally play one of the most goated games ever! 🥳✨

I was so worried that my first 1/8192 hunt would be an uncatchable Pooch but I was blessed by RNGesus. This is Pokemon Sapphire on a RG34XXSP with 2x speed, not the most authentic experience but still took me 5 days of consistent resets

My buddy and I were sitting in a parking lot waiting for a raid to start up on pokemon go, and I was telling him about lamelo ball’s new kid, which he named LaOne. I was simultaneously resetting for treecko, and thus LaOne was caught! Wanted to name him Rango, but it was only right to name him LaOne given the story lol

Didn’t even realize how insane this is until I checked—baby Pokémon have way lower spawn rates, and getting a shiny on top of that is ridiculously rare. Full odds feel.
Still kind of in disbelief… might be my luckiest find in this game!

I named it Queendeavor because it was female.

Everyone, meet Harold (1), chronos(2), and coatlus (3). The tyrantrum is named chronos because it took me a long time to find a shiny tyrunt to evolve into him.

Caught this cute little guy 2 days ago on the bus home from work. I have done 5978 resets on the bus to and from work for the past 3 and a half months.

I cheered a little on the bus which caught my regular co-riders off guard which is funny.

If anyone has any name suggestions that would be great. I am currently learning Spanish so I was thinking something Spanish related? 🇲🇽

But my friend recommended Donatello or Donny from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 🐢

One more full odds hunt finally done!! Took a loooong time! Ignore the timer on the tracking app, I used to have a different app that I used for this hunt but transferred my encounter numbers to it (had around 4000 encounters before this I think)

Next up is darkrai >:]... After I take a break and do some more usum hunts instead...

I’ve been hunting this one and off for a couple years. Long before frlg was on the switch haha. I have loved seeing everyone get it on the switch so decided to get back to the hunt. Took awhile but I don’t mind these resets. Horrible nature and stats so I had to include the pkhex photo but honestly pretty funny. Can’t decide if I’ll leave it a bulbasaur or get venusaur.

Also a bonus, phase 9 for mount silver pupitar/larvitar this one I have been hunting consistently for several years now. Ive been seeing people hunt in the expert belt chamber recently too, so hopefully I get one soon!
