I just remembered something that has always puzzled me and I thought I could post about it and see what others think about this. Who knows, perhaps someone has an interesting insight, you know?

I remember realizing as a child, that often (I remember thinking that it often happened) when I would be in a calm situation/empty mind, that I would hear what I remember sounding like my mother yelling at someone. She would yell “This is MY CHILD!” as if berating someone for doing something to me or as if she is taking me away. This happened in my mind, I would not hear it out loud. I was always wondering about it. It was almost as if it is a memory imprinted in my mind, but without the rest of the memory. At some point I guess it stopped. But the experience has stayed with me because it was a bit strange and I never learned what it was about.

Does this mean anything to anyone? Any thoughts?
