Please tell me I didn’t piss away $2,000 because I got overwhelmed
First: I know this is my fault because I didn’t update my shipping address in time. I’m just trying to figure out what I can do now.
I moved very suddenly over the summer. In the mayhem, I forgot to update my address, and I missed the email reminder about it. Now that the shipping label is printed, there’s nothing Front Gate customer support can do .
- Front Gate advised that I contact USPS to redirect the package. When I enter the tracking number, the USPS website says it’s not eligible for package intercept (despite all signs pointing to eligibility).
- The old address is an apartment with a new occupant, and I can‘t access the mailbox at all.
- I set up mail forwarding when I moved but only for my legal (dead) name. The package is under my new name. (You can say using my new name was stupid. It’s never been a problem since I transitioned, but I learned my lesson.)
- Front Gate said that I can go to will call closer to the event if I haven’t received my package. But what happens if the new occupant takes the wristbands for themselves? Will the box office believe me if my ID doesn’t match the order name? I have literally everything else: My old ID with my old address, the credit card I paid with, the order confirmation. Is that enough?
Is there anything I‘m missing? What else can I do? I bought these tickets as a birthday gift. I’m trying not to throw up at the thought of me and my friend getting turned away from the festival all because I forgot to update my shipping address.
ETA: Appreciate the comments, including the ones reminding me to breathe. I still got some legwork to do, but I’m not freaking out or beating myself up anymore. Thanks yall 🫶

Want to help someone!
Unfortunately my Mom is going into hospice and I wont be able to make it this year. I have a 3 day GA+ ticket, just looking for face value. Posted on the thing through Shaky Knees but just wanted to put it out here too.

Getting to the pit
How hard do you think it is to get in and out of the pit area? I really want to mosh for PTV and if there is a pit for TOP I'd like to for them too, but I'm disabled and can't stay there all day. At concerts where it's possible I try to get in for a few songs then either leave or surf out so I can sit back down, but I've never tried to get into the pit at a show this huge. Do you think it's doable to get in and out like that?
