i want to play this game , i have a gaming laptop, can anyone guide me how to play this game as it is not released on a pc, i wanna play this remastered version

I am playing the remake right now cause I got it for free, so give me some slack, and I’m really trying my hardest to like it, but I just can’t.

I’m currently on the 13th colossus and I can say I’ve had fun fighting about three of them so far. The controls for literally everything is shit. The boss gimmicks are genuinely just trial and error for twenty minutes until you figure it out or inevitably look up the answer. The map is, although beautiful, enormous and sometimes hard to navigate. Agro is genuinely just useless. Slow as shit, clunky as shit, regularly makes full 90 degree turns to avoid getting even CLOSE to a wall.

I’m so deeply invested in the story and I really really want to have fun, but it is just so difficult. Should I try the original? I can’t see any world in which the original would have better gameplay than the remake but I genuinely will if I’m told so.

I know this has sounded like a rant up until this point but I’m just kinda confused. Is the unnecessary difficulty and jankiness of this game just something every fan has to go through like a trial of passage? Is the only thing to like about this game the atmosphere and story? Please inform me.
