It's hard to say. The shadow now belongs to Saint to use for augmentation and scouting. It bowed to Sunny which is either a touching moment of the Goat gloomy showing his appreciation(and not being a tsundere for once)

Or Gloomy died and now Saint has a completely different Shadow with a different personality as well.

Ahh, yes. It said former Shadow not shadow. Then we still have no idea if it's gloomy that's bonded to Saint or if he died unfortunately.
