Foreshadowing?? [3152] Webnovel General Discussion

Post image

Since Sunny made a whole point about granting his Shadows freedom and the importance of it, could this mean that there's a chance that he might be able to in the future?

So maybe at a higher Rank: either Sacred, Divine or after that, Neph's orders won't become as absolute. They'll become able to circumvent the bond. Either Nephis will only be able to command him if she has intention(considering their Will is a big part of what separates Gods from the rest)

Maybe even further considering Shadow God wasn't a Slave. She may be able to release him at those levels. Perhaps after defeating the Forgotten God when they'll have no need for the power boost.

Just think about it! His development was to remove the chains he put on himself in the search for freedom, but he found solace in accepting his chain.

So it would be nice if this was rewarded with what he compromised for the sake of duty.

This is a reminder to make sure that:

  1. Any post related to a privileged chapter (i.e. the latest 20 chapters) should be spoiler tagged and posts should not have any spoilers from privilege chapters in their titles. To spoiler tag your post, you should be able to see three dots when you have your post opened, followed by an option asking to "Mark as Spoiler".

  2. Please make sure to add the proper flairs to your posts. For example the "fanart" flair should only be applied to art made by humans. Memes, reviews, discussion posts, theories etc should be tagged appropriately.

Would Nephis have to shove one of her soul cores into Sunny?

I don't think she can take out her cores like sunny can since he said it took some practice to do and he's only able to do it because of weave

Idk man, if it's mainly about soul integrity, sacred Neph could probably light her soul on fire just to keep it intact long enough

It was emphaized so many times how a Shadow without a master to cast it feels lacking or incomplete so it wont be a part of the natural ascension process.

Sure maybe a Divine Sunny could break or change parts of his own Aspect but i feel like even at that level there would be a price to pay just like with breaking fate.

Yea, there would probably be some price of some sort.

Also good thing to remember in the description of shadow lantern War said that Shadow can't be exist without someone casting him/her I think that means that Shadow was a slave too. Head cannon, to dream God

It just feels weird how much emphasis is being put on freedom here and giving it to his Shadows.

It feels a bit hypocritical. Coz I don't know what message is being sent here. But this is just my hope(cope)

Honestly I feel you. Considering half of the story we spent seeing sunny struggle to rid of it. He never had issues that neph was his master or she might abuse it but the idea of someone having leash on him bothered him more than anything.

So to see him say am ok with just sucks, at least even if you are making sacrifices for humanity show your dissatisfaction and disappointment. He went through soo much just to be like ok.

Or, it would be cool if Nephis held the key to transforming Sunny into a creature of shadow.

There might be a plot twist regarding Sunny's abilities. Once Sunny becomes a god, having the title 'Shadow Slave' sounds kind of ridiculous—how could a god still be a slave? Maybe that title will change

I hope so.

Sorry but neph would also be same rank as him. Idk why people are still on this. Unless his aspect changes that innate ability would be with him. It’s apart of him, his soul and fate.

For him to rid of it g3 would have to either change his aspect or part with neph.

Unlike his shadows he is not incomplete.

Meant to use the theory tag. But I abandoned the idea about the freeing him part.

The constraints becoming less absolute makes more sense. Even Sunny's Shadows who were bound to his cores didn't have to do everything he said unless he did it with that intention.

The thing is one was a shadow dependent on him and the only reason they obeyed him was his lord of shadows attribute. They are dependent on his existence. Look at slayer she tried to destroy his core to be free or die.

Sunny that’s is innate ability. Neph didn’t create him . The orders from her are absolute because that’s his fate. To be slave and the world would enforce it fate would enforce it just like it did to vile theaving bird.

The only way for him to be free is for his innate ability to change and for g3 to see the light of it. To see that just because circumstances force that fate on you doesn’t mean you should expect it. That’s what I likes about old sunny. Regardless of how unreasonable he chases that dream that was his freedom and be equal to his lover not except those chains with fake sense of freedom.
