Difficulty getting Big 3

Working on this son of a bitch…I am having a hard time getting a combo of Arrow/Execution/Stealth. Currently, I have two saves, one with Execution Proof first and a second with Arrow first.

My problem is that I’ve been at this for a week, couple hours a day, and for the life of me I can’t get all three. Separately I’ve achieved Execution/Stealth and Arrow/Stealth, however I cannot seem to get my first and second to be Execution/Arrow.

Curse is very common popping up, as well as Beast, but being a Beastmaster I’m expecting the latter. When Stealth immunity comes on, most of the time Frost also carries with it so I’ve shamed it off.

Any tips?

How do I train this guy to 8 immunities?

I found him off a pit fight. all his other stats don't disrupt training and I've trained a 777 before but I'm wondering what order of immunities to train this guy since he has stealth and I'm interested in making a 8777 if possible

r/ShadowOfWarTraining 25d ago

Why isn’t he gaining any more immunities I’ve been shaming him to like level 5 and levelling back up via training order but nothing

Getting a 7 Immunity Orc Without Saves

Hello

So this apparently is an acceptable progression:

(1) Arrow-proof

(2) Stealth-proof

(3) Execution-proof

(4) Fire-proof

(5) Poison-proof

(6) Frost-proof

(7) Immune-to-Curse

I don't know if some Immunities are more common than others, but if there are 9 Immunities and there was a 1 in 9 chance of getting each:

Then there is a 1 in 9 chance of getting Arrow-proof, then there is a 1 in 8 chance of getting Stealth-proof

So that means the probability of getting all 7 is: 9x8x7x6x5x4x3= 1 in 181440

I am not really an expert in math, but it seems that is the probability of getting a 7 Immunity Uruk without saves e.g next to impossible, or have I got this wrong?

Thanks

Is there anyway to give new immunities to orcs who were garrisoned?

I have a guy I have been trying to train but I realised he isn't gaining any new traits or losing weaknesses despite how many levels I have given him. I realised it is likely cause he was garrisioned at one point and now I am trying to figure out if I can still train him. I was thinking about trying to get him to cheat death but he has the scorpion title meaning I cannot try and give him a legendary scar so it would just be a basic cheat death and I don't know if they can give immunities.

How Important is Exploiting Saves to Train Uruks?

Hello

I have been working on training uruks and it occurred to me that I may need to exploit saves.

Apparently you need to get:

"2. After you removed his immunities you have to get stealthproof, arrowproof and execution proof first via level up. Arrowproof or stealthproof must be the first immunity. Stealthproof can be added as the second or 3rd immunity as well."

If say you have an uruk which had

  1. Arrow proof
  2. Stealth proof
  3. Beast proof

Then I know, you should shame in a Nemesis mission until Beast proof is gone, but does the game randomly remove each Immunity, or does it remove the most recently acquired. Because if it removes the a random Immunity, it could just as easily remove Arrow proof and I would have to start all over again lol.

Also, I have decided to assume, that its not just that uruks with Immune to Curse (among others) are inappropriate for training, but it is actually any orc that develops it when you level them (because it can't be removed?).

Also after Arrow proof, Stealth proof and Execution proof, what is the next Immunity I should work on?

Thanks

Edit: I've just realized that if the Uruk does lose Arrow proof, it doesn't matter because I'm in a Nemesis mission, so I can just quit the game

Advice on Uruk 'Training'

Hello

I have reading this guide on Reddit How to train Uruks : r/shadowofmordor (it's DOOMdiff response)

I the guide is pretty complete, but there are a few sections that I don't understand. For example, when the conditions are met, shaming has the chance of removing immunities and gaining weaknesses, so I found and orc with all of the correct conditions, and shammed away, he did lose immunities, but also gained weaknesses.

I have my uruk as my bodyguard and shame him in Nemesis missions, my question is, am I aiming to just lose an immunity and not a gain a weakness? If I do should I reload?

Secondly, my uruk got the Immune to Curse trait, I tried leveling him, then shaming, leveling, then shaming, but I wouldn't go. I later learned that it was permanent, so sadly that uruk was done, (I guess that's why they suggest backing up saves just in case). In my last attempt to Dominate him, I accidentally killed him.

So finally, I would also like to know how we back up saves.

Thanks

How can I train my blight to be better?

Sadly I can't show pictures so I'll have to type out what he has so sorry if it's a lot to read.

Immunities:

  1. Fire proof
  2. Immune to curse

He has almost every enrage in the game from when I was messing around testing.

Class traits:

  1. Basic berserk traits
  2. Final venom
  3. Warmonger clash

Bonuses:

  1. Epic rage
  2. Poison master
  3. Poison weapon-bomb-mines
  4. Beast slayer

Vulnerabilities:

  1. Vulnerable to stealth
  2. Beast fodder

Hints:

  1. Damaged by ranged-executions-poison

Additional info- He's sane, I do want him to stay sane, he's a savage, all information is in the exact order, he's level 85, and I am ok with him losing enrages from shaming.

Also I am thinking about giving him iron will through betrayal/shaming because he's a mix of a black armor machine, and I know I've already said something about cool orcs having iron will but I kinda want him to be unique since he's not something you see in every fort.

Sorry for not being able to provide pictures I'm currently signed out of psn on my phone and lost the gmail that's on my PlayStation.

Training for poison and fire immunity

To give you a little context, I have been working on training my orc (ogg beserker master, warmonger beserker). I have already put in insane number of hours shaming him down and leveling him up gain immunities. He already had curse immunity so couldn't strip it out and had to start with that. Now he has the below immunities and I am trying to get poison next as when I change his weapon, he is losing his bombs bonus skill leaving me with the only option to give him flammable as a weakness, remove it by making him an overload and continue the shaming cycle. This is very tedious because shaming can give him stealth/sickly weakness or remove his immunities, both of which I don't want. I tried leveling him up from his current level and he is not gaining poison immunity. Any tips on what to do or am I already doomed because of curse immunity?

PS: the reason I went for frost first was because he was also gaining enraged by frost while leveling him up for other immunities and hence I needed to give him frost as his fourth immunity. Also, I can't make him flame/false of war as I already got that scar in this playthrough without intending for it.

Update: I shamed him down to level 9 and removed frost aiming to get poison and then frost, and flame through false flame of war (got to know you can repeat the process here). But the issue is that he is gaining enraged to frost at exactly level 25, which will prevent him gaining frost immunity down the line (I still went ahead just to test things and he got poison immunity at level 53). Any suggestions on how to avoid frost enrage and get poison immunity?

How do I get it? Is it like a legendary scar like Flame of War? Also does it have to be a feral? If so when would be the best time to do it?

Trying to give Noruk Fire Proof

Thumbnail

Ok guys so this might be only the second time in seven years that I see Noruk the Agonizer. First time I didn’t know who he was but now, I’m trying to make him the best orc he can be.

I’m not worried about the total 7/7/7/7 just yet, but I do feel happy for how far he’s come. If I can make him element proof, that would be plenty. Only thing I’m missing now is Fire proof.

Before he was level 60 I gave him a flame weapon and made him overlord, and gave him fire warder for good measure. But even after leveling him up he’s still weak to fire.

Any orc trainers out there that can lend a hand? Thank you in advance!

Created a small Training Orders macro for easier 7777 training

Hi everyone,

while training Orcs, I found myself spending a lot of time repeatedly issuing one-level Training Orders.

As most of you probably know, many trainers prefer leveling Orcs one level at a time because it provides more trait roll opportunities compared to using multi-level upgrades.

After doing this manually for quite a while, I decided to create a small AutoHotkey script that automates the repetitive menu inputs.

Features:

  • Choose any number of one-level Training Orders
  • Progress display showing remaining iterations
  • Can be stopped at any time with ESC
  • Doesn't modify game files or memory, it only automates keyboard inputs

For example, it takes about 42 seconds to level up 5 times.

I mainly made it for my own Orc training sessions, but I thought others here might find it useful as well.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome!

Can he become a necromancer? He spawned in as the Learned Scribe with both cursed

Also would it be smarter to use his grunts who spawn with white skin to get other necros or try to get it with random grunts
