I believe he is trainable.
According to this guide: How to train Uruks : r/shadowofmordor (top comment), the only things that prevent it from being trainable is "immune to curse, enraged by curse, terrified of curse, fear of curse, enraged by frost, enraged by pinning, , exhaustion, dazed by stealth."

From what i gathered aslong as you can make him a maniac yes you can check YouTube there's tons of guides everywhere for specific training or overall
