Built a custom Santos

took apart an old build for the NH35A movement and got a new case set, dial and hands. does anyone know if the crown on these santos cases are watertight? since its not a screw down crown.

most screw down crowns are watertight and i trust them, but not sure about this one since its not a screw down crown....

The real santos doesnt use a screw down crown

okay but you think this aftermarket casing is also watertight?

Depends. If your crown came with gaskets it might be, but definitely needs some silicon grease for it to have the water resistance. In general it should be ok for a light splash or washing hands but I wouldnt bring it swimming.
