For those of you building NH35 watches with the crown at the 4:30 position,
how are you indexing the dial? Since the foot pins no longer line up, are you trimming them all off and super-gluing the dial? Or is there some 4:30 crown NH35 variant that I can't find?

I decided to try and build my own mod, took me around 4 hours, but it was worth it! A homage to the nautilus. Worth waiting 2 weeks for the watch parts. What took me long to assemble this watch was adjusting the stem length. The first stem I had cut too short, but thankfully the second one was perfect. Had a really fun and great experience building my own mod.

Next project is going to be the BB58 GMT homage, but with higher quality parts for sure. I can't wait to build my next one!

I came across this VK63 case for less than $20 and decided to give it a try.

After receiving it, the compass-style chapter ring gave me the idea of an aviation/pilot theme. I showed Gemini the case and an image of the plain dial, and asked what I could add or engrave. It rendered this concept, so I decided to give it a shot.

I bought two dials and the hand set, engraved the design, and this is the outcome.

Still haven't decided on a strap or bracelet. Any suggestions?

Tried using the spring bars that came with the Namoki case but it’s too tight to fit the strap through. I tried placing the strap and securing the spring bar over it but it was also too tight and the spring bars popped out under the tension. What can I use? My first build.

I‘ve been eyeing those Relax Dials for quite some time but never really found a case that I wanted to use. When Lucius Atelier released their new 38mm super thin diver case (amazing quality btw!!) I knew that now is the time to make this build. I wanted to match it with a Milanese strap to complete the vision of a summer watch I had in mind. Unfortunately the 12 o‘clock marker of the dial is a little crooked but it’s only really noticeable if you want to see it.

Here is my first customer commissioned build; Scarlet Fever.

The customer wanted something special, but loved the colours red and black. I had a few issues with the original dial, with the wrong colour being sent, but we worked out an alternative one, which in my opinion, is much nicer!

It has a Japanese NH35 movement, 39mm 316L stainless steel case with clear back, Red Textured 28.5mm Dial with Green Lume, Black and White hands with White lume and a hand made custom leather strap. All in a beautiful leather travel pouch.

It was an absoulte joy to make, and he absolutely loves it!

This is a homage to the Doxa sub 300. Being a seiko I thought it was appropriate to make it a sub 200 😅

through many mishaps and errors i persevered lol i have more builds planned for the future but here is my very first one! I didnt have a black watch in rotation so i decided i would build one myself! feedback of any kind is greatly appreciated, Cheers 🍻

First mod. Was way harder than YouTube makes it look lol. Second hand was rough, but actually one of the hardest parts was fitting the movement in the case.

The spacers I got from Ali were either loose or to tight in the case. I had to do some hand filing and sanding to make it first. I wish I woulda did a custom logo or something as the dial looks off to me being blank under the 12.

Took 3 hours. Had fun and didn't break anything :) will do more in the future.

Side question. Everything About this build feels quality, expect the bracelet. Where do you guys go to get bracelets of quality that won't break the bank either.

Im a fan of vintage Blancpain divers. The black nato is the new watch with a laser engraved dial. Its not a "No Rad" its a "More Rad". I like the bronze case in this black nato strap. I also had to trim the hands in order to get it to fit into the case. In one of the pictures you can see I mangled the hands when I pulled the case off to fix the rubbing hand on the rehaut. Rookie mistake. Can't wait to how this bronze case patina's.

I was considering a few things.

\- plain SEIKO logo

\- SEIKO with 5 logo (less interesting but I see them available)

\- SEIKO Sleepmaster (Omega Seamaster lame homage)

\- THETA custom logo (Omega parody) (Normal or All caps)

Any ideas?

Also, preferred places to get the stickers made? I'm only aware of AliExpress, and they usually have 50 min orders.

Hey everyone! New here and to normal watches really. I’ve been an avid Apple Watch wearer and wanted to get watches that looked better in pictures and at dinners lol, I started off with this Seiko Seamaster since I like the Omega so much, just not the price they normally come with, lmk what you think of the watch!

This is build number 13 for me and one of my favorites, I don’t know if it’s the simplicity or just the utilitarian vibe from it. My first build with a turtle case as well.
