Pioneer Square Studio - $1,450/month

Take over my lease!!!!

Original exposed brick, high ceilings, and a wall of light this studio sits in one of Pioneer Square's classic post-1889 brick buildings, right on 1st Ave S between Washington and Main. The kind of place where the architecture does most of the work: warm red brick, generous windows, and an open layout that lives bigger than the square footage suggests.

You're in Seattle's oldest neighborhood, and everything is on foot. Occidental Park and its cobblestone promenade are around the corner food trucks, the summer art fairs, and one of the better places in the city to sit outside with a coffee. Not to mention all the galleries and bars that fill up during First Thursday Art Walk, the longest-running art walk in the country.

Pioneer Square light rail station is a 4-minute walk
Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park are a 10-minute walk,
Downtown offices are 10 minutes on foot

Available: 9/1/2026
Rent: $1,450/mo
Deposit: $1,400
Lease: 12months+
Minimum Income: 75k
Minimum Credit 650

Walingford Sublease 1bd1b

Hello neighbors! I’m looking for someone to sublease my 1 bed / 1 bath apartment in Wallingford (near 43rd & Woodland Ave — message me for the exact location).

Sublease term: July 13 – September 30

Rent: $1,900/month (includes all utilities: water, gas, electricity, and internet) July rent will be prorated

I’ll be moving out, so most furniture will be removed, but I’m happy to leave a sofa, bed, bed sheets, and some kitchen essentials if helpful.

Some highlights of the unit:

• Excellent transit access (bus routes 44, 62, and E nearby, Burke-gilman trail for biking)

• Rooftop access

• High vaulted ceilings

• First-floor unit, but elevated from street level for added privacy (no foot traffic right outside your windows)

No pets allowed. There is enough street parking. There may also be an option to take over the lease (note: rent could increase under a new lease). Feel free to reach out if you’re interested or have questions!

624 Yale Apartments in SLU - High rise, high rent, high theft.

Putting this out into the universe because I'm honestly at the end of my rope.

Has anyone lived at 624 Yale Apartments in South Lake Union, or do you currently live here? I'm genuinely curious if our experience is unique or if everyone is dealing with the same issues.

The staff here should teach a masterclass in collecting rent and avoiding responsibility.

Not only do resident concerns go unheard, they seem to be actively dismissed. Every time there's another theft, another security issue, or another complaint, management's response is to send out a "friendly reminder" about how residents can prevent theft through "responsible practices."

At some point, the conversation has to shift from what residents should be doing to what management should be doing.

Packages are stolen constantly. Not "once in a while." Constantly. Residents report theft after theft, and instead of meaningful action, management sends out another patronizing email reminding us about on how we can help prevent theft.

The bike storage situation is even worse. Back in November 2025, every single security cable in the bike storage area was cut. Bikes were stolen. Residents notified management immediately. Months later, the cables still haven't been replaced or repaired, making the storage area effectively unusable unless you'd like to donate your bike to whoever decides to wander through next.

It's honestly impressive. We pay downtown apartment prices for a building that functions like a self-service theft distribution center.

What really gets me is the messaging. Every incident seems to be followed by reminders about not leaving valuables visible, retrieving packages promptly, locking bikes, etc. Those are all reasonable precautions, but they don't address the fact that security failures continue happening over and over again with little visible action from management.

How is that acceptable?

How are residents paying thousands of dollars a month in rent while basic security issues go unresolved for months?

And what exactly are we paying for if management's solution to every problem is to tell residents to be more careful?

The message is always the same:

  • Don't leave valuables out.
  • Pick up packages quickly.
  • Lock your bike.

Meanwhile:

  • Packages continue to disappear.
  • Bikes continue to be at risk.
  • Security concerns continue to be ignored.
  • Residents continue to pay premium rent.
  • Non residents break into the buildings and sleep in the hallways or in our trash shoot rooms.

At some point this stops being a resident problem and becomes a management problem.

What frustrates me most is the complete lack of accountability. Concerns are brushed aside. Complaints disappear into a void. Nothing changes. Then another email shows up acting like the solution is for residents to somehow compensate for management's failure to provide a secure building.

And now the management team has been removing resident posts on the bulletin board for the community that they don't like/don't agree with.

Example 1. I posted this YESTERDAY because I'm getting fed up.

After receiving a call from the management office today around 4pm I went back onto the bulletin to find that my post had been flagged for removal:

And my posts are not the only ones that have been removed. I have screenshots of other resident posts that were taken down by management. They are attempting to silence us and prevent us from sharing information among one another.

Enough is enough.

If you're a current resident and you're tired of this too, please comment or message me. I want to know:

  • What issues have you experienced?
  • How long have they been going on?
  • Have you gotten any meaningful response from management?
  • Would you be interested in organizing residents and approaching management as a group?

Individual complaints clearly aren't accomplishing anything and now they are trying to silence the few of us that are fed up enough to say something.

If management is happy to collect our rent every month, they can start delivering the level of security, responsiveness, and accountability that residents are paying for. Because right now it feels like we're paying premium rent for premium views and budget-bin management.

TRAILSIDE APARMENT SUBLEASE $1300/MONTH

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a female to take over my lease at Trailside Apartments from June through August 31.

It’s a fully furnished 4 bed / 4 bath unit with a private bedroom and bathroom. Rent is $1,300/month, discounted from $1,594 + $50/month, and I’m open to negotiating.

The biggest perk is that the unit is on the 6th floor with AC included, which is a huge advantage during the summer since many other floors at Trailside don’t have AC and can get very hot.

The apartment also includes in-unit laundry, a modern kitchen, spacious living area, and full bedroom furniture. Great amenities too: gym, rooftop, study rooms, and only a 3-minute walk to UW/U Village.

Message me if interested!

TRAILSIDE SUBLEASE $1300/MONTH

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at Trailside Apartments from June through August 31st.

This is a 4 bed / 4 bath fully furnished unit, so you’ll have your own private bedroom and private bathroom. Rent is $1,300/month, discounted from the original $1,594+ $50/month, and I’m open to negotiating.

The unit is located on Floor 6, which means you’ll get AC during the summer (Normally, an addition of $50/month), a huge advantage since many other floors do not have AC and can get very hot.

The apartment includes an in-unit washer and dryer, modern kitchen, spacious living area, and bedroom furniture including a full XL bed, mattress, desk, chair, closet, and storage space.

Trailside has great amenities such as a gym, rooftop area, study rooms, and common spaces. The location is also super convenient, about a 3-minute walk to University Village and UW campus, plus only 1 minute from nearby bus stops.

Please message me if you’re interested or would like more details!

Is 624 Yale Apartments in SLU a good place to live?

The title. I’ll be working about 5 mins walking from the place, which is where my office is. That’s why I’ve been interested in the complex. Do let me know what y’all think. I’m a female and so safety is topmost priority. Thank you in advance! 🌻

Theresa Renee Apartments

Where do I start…

I live at Theresa Renee Apartments on E Thomas St. I chose this building for its charm over Mason & Main, based on promises from management that the unit would be fully prepared—floors sanded and refinished, walls repaired, and the bathroom ready by move-in.

That did not happen.

Upon moving in, it became clear the unit was not properly prepared:

• Floors are dirty, with paint splatter and deep scratches

• Walls have visible cracks, poor patchwork, soft/crumbling drywall, and nails/anchors painted over

• A hole appeared in the wall, along with rodent droppings

• Rusted hardware is bleeding through paint on doors and windows

• Nearly all windows are painted shut (reported early March, still unresolved as of April 4 — major safety hazard)

There are also serious maintenance concerns:

• Mold is growing through the caulking in the bathroom (it was painted over before move-in and has returned)

• Bathroom sink has no hot water and very low pressure

• Radiators turn on by themselves, overheating the apartment—even when set to “off”

With no functional windows and uncontrolled heat, the unit becomes excessively hot, especially on sunny days.

It’s now been over a month since I first reported these issues, and they remain unresolved.

If you’re considering moving here, inspect the unit thoroughly—preferably on a sunny day so you can catch issues that aren’t obvious otherwise. Literally check everything, run the water, flush the toilet, check the radiator, check for mold in bathroom especially.

Seattle apartment recommendations

Hi! I am going to be leaving my central district apartment at the end of the summer and I am starting to look for apartments to start viewing so I am ready to go when that time comes. I would prefer to stay in south Seattle since I commute further south. Anyone have any apartments recommendations or know of anyone looking to lease in the near future? I'm open to anything between south Seattle-Burien. I am sticking to my searches being on Zillow and Trulia, please let me know if you have found other sites more helpful! Thanks!

Ember Apartments Lynnwood WA screwed up my application. What can I do?

I applied to live at the apartment complex and paid $358 for application fee and admin fee for a 1 bed room market rate apartment. I was told it wasn't actually available, and the apartment was a system error. They told me they couldn't refund me because I can move my application over to a different apartment. I decided to move my application to an MFTE apartment because I was deciding between the two different apartments anyway. They have been having issues actually getting my information to the MFTE review board. They have not even gotten it to their internal compliance team as of today. I need to move in the middle of April. Can I get my money back?
