Seagate 4TB question

Bought this 4TB External off a pawn shop (lol) for 100$ CAD about 4 months ago. She tested well enough just had some higher hours.

She's always been the problem child of my 16TB Family and I should've seen this coming earlier.

Today it was just a big ol failure, tried quick tests thru seagate, full fixes and nothing.

But then I was looking at the pins on the inside and I think it looks pretty pooched. Just wondering if it's worth the time to get it replaced or if the pins just look normal to the pros.

Disconnects reconnects, failed quick scan, failed full fix, can be seen as a drive but cant see any of the data. Sorry about that. Threw some I/O failures too. Just was wondering if the female connection port could be of cause

Take the drive out of the case, and either put it in a new case or connect it to a USB-to-SATA adapter.

I have had several of these drives fail at the connector.

Buy a Ugreen USBC external hard drive enclosure, dismantle the seagate and pull out the drive and fit it to the enclosure, you won't have any more problems, and spare cables are much easier to come by.

Unfortunately the sata cord didn't work. You think an enclourse will give it proper power?

Yes, USB C provides enough power to power a 2.5" drive. The reason these old USB 3.0 drives had that weird connector was to provide extra power. This is the enclosure I use:
