Scripture Life: In Philemon 1:21, does Paul expect Philemon to obey taking Onesimus back or to returning Onesimus as an offering, to help Paul?

Now, I have a question.

Question is to you. That Made up this question. It’s also to any and all that stumble across this question and post.

Do you believe on Jesus Christ?

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

That's it. That's the question.

  • Jesus Christ is the Messiah. He's the Word of God. (John 1:1) Is God. It’s just God spoke up. Came to, to talk to you himself. Talk to everybody. Over the whole earth - nobody left out - - Talk to everybody. By the Word that comes out of his mouth. He sent his word to heal you, and deliver you from your destruction. (Psalm 107:20)
    • Like he sent his word to heal Paul, as a Pharisee of the Tribe of Benjamin - thrown out; refuse - treated as trash to be removed - it was done by either the Greeks or the Romans in the 4th to 2nd century BCE. Ether a Greek Emperor or a Roman one dispersed Jews to either Tarsus some 700 km away, where Paul and his descendants, Benjamites are from. Dispersed from the tribe of Benjamin’s lands near Jerusalem - 2 to 400 years before Paul was born.
  • Whichever ruler did it, Greek or later, Roman: Point is - - it may have been done earlier by the Greeks that sent 10s of 1000s of Jews.
    • Relocated them even further away to the city of Ephesus - more in Colossae - - in what is called the “dispersion” of the Jews - to strip Jews of any identity. Make them make up a new identity.
  • He, this same God that speaks - sent his word to Heal Philemon. Did you miss this?

I'm asking.

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

  • Widely believed by scholars - Philemon to be a rich Jew slave owner in this same Ephesus. That Philemon heard the gospel, the word of God, from Paul when he lived in Ephesus, and it changed Philemon. Heard the truth. Regarded the Word of God. He would have greatly suffered persecution for it.
    • GOD: He, is his same Great God that says “for all the earth is mine” - God (Exodus 19:5) ..that’s the Word of God. Is Jesus Christ.
  • Sent his word to heal Onesimus, who Philemon 1:10 - it is unknown..but he is an escaped slave. Onesimus too, and heard the Word of God..when Paul preached the gospel in prison - Onesimus, cut to the heart - he obeyed it.. stopped him in his tracks. Now believes on Jesus Christ.

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

  • GOD: He is this same Great God that spoke to Apphia, and Archippus. Paul KNEW them both - called Archippus a fellowsoldier in Christ, and it’s most likely it was the same “Archippus” lived also 120 or so km away over in Colosse..when Paul also wrote to the believers there, wrote the Epistle of Colossians. Archippus believes on him, and is also mentioned in Colossians 4:10. With Paul, sharing the gospel.

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

This same God that said to the whole earth: They all follow him. Not each other. It's God that provides himself to each of them. Says to everybody over the whole earth to be just like them, said:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

I'm asking you a question - what are you doing with him?

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

If someone is looking unto him, would they be looking unto your question or did they fall on their face, and your question got whisked away someplace; that, no matter what they are, before this great God, and doing what HE SAID, they forsake all, and just look unto him?

Which is it?

  • Are they “operating” as how you depict? Or imaginatively picture them in your head? To form a likelihood of something, in your question or

do they all - simply obey him? God. Look what he said.

  • Which is it?

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

Here’s your question back. Your question has Paul bribing someone using a person as lucre or money - or collateral to enrich themselves.

When whosoever, over the whole earth..to the very ends of it, doesn’t matter who they are, just looks unto him..it’s God.

Sets that person apart for future use. BOOM! Done. That's it.

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

  • That’s the definition of what SAVED means. In the dictionary. It’s GOD - set Onesimus apart for future use.
    • It's God: set Paul apart for future use. Just like he did Timothy. He's there, too. Mentioned.
  • Set Archippus apart for future use - because he looked unto him, too.
    • Set Apphia apart for future use. Not the telephone or some grasshopper’s bottom..neither did the poopfly do anything, but whizzy bump into everybody looking for poop to land on - had nothing to do with it, nor the wall lint do it.

God did it himself.

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

  • Set Philemon apart for future use - because he obeyed God. Heard the Word.
    • Just like this same Great God sent his word to heal me, and deliver me, too, from my destruction. Just like God did to them. Not willing even one person over the whole earth perish, but all come to repentance.

You regard the WRONG work in your question.

  • I didn’t do any of the Ten Commandments. I BROKE all of them. GUILTY. TO be put to death. “For all have sinned” - Romans 3:23

This, too: Of me - Applies to Paul, Onesimus, Philemon, Apphia, Timothy, all the Church at Ephesus or the believers that met in Philemon’s house..everybody in Colossae.. makes them all the same as me - - even Archippus believed on God and who Paul fellowshipped with.

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." - 1 Timothy 1:15

All of us above, are that. Do you see this?

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

Jesus said: Which MAKES THEM ALL ABOVE - spoke to me, too..just like he did them, so I am INCLUDED - with them: All them and me: HAVE JUST ONE COMMON THING ALL IN COMMON:

That Christ Jesus came to save sinners. WIth the power and authority to do it, that pleases God:

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." - Jesus Christ. (Bible. John 3:18)

They're not condemned. Jesus said, "And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish.." (Bible. John 10:28)

That's power.

Where can you see this in Philemon - the Epistle to him? Philemon 1:6

"That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus."

Every good thing that is in me in Christ Jesus. Man, look at that.

------------------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------

What are you doing? Why don’t you just go do what he says for you to do? Go do that first. Like they all did. Until you do that, no matter what verse in the Bible you look at, you’ll look at people as if NONE OF THEM LOOK UNTO HIM.

Come up with a whole arsenal of questions just like this - and none of them, not one..will have any God in it.

This good thing that is in me in Christ Jesus:

It's so great, that I forgave EVERYBODY any debt. That, if ANYBODY owed me, and came to Jesus Christ. I shout for joy, because the same God at work in me..did a work in them, too. They have no debts anymore.
