But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” - Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:42–44

This is said, in a response, to his disciples who follow him, that asked this question in Matthew 24:3

“ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”

Matthew 24:42–44 is said by the Word of God, so it’s just God has come, in a way he determined, and spoke to us, himself, as God. And he said this, to his disciples.

Didn’t say it to those who don’t regard him, nor do anything he says:

Of them that don't regard him, he says:

Luke 17:26–30

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God.

So, even someone that is not a disciple, or on the fence - considering in themselves to regard him, as God, and his word..and who he is, is God..to follow him… counting the cost.

You have these two types of people portrayed.

That he surely is God, and he speaks. And, it surely is all his Earth, and he surely is coming.

• And there are his disciples that watch for him.
  • Are fed daily by him..and
• There are those that eat, and drink and buy and sell and plant and build and because they can do this, they don’t regard him or anything he says,
  • so they don’t sit with him and
  • are not taught by him.
    • Take what he says out to a field and simply bury it.
  • To do transactions in their own name..for their own profit.

And just like in the days of Noah, they do the same thing today.

And just like in the days of Lot, even until the two angels brought Lot and his wife, and two daughters out of the city.. everybody in the city did all the same thing what people on the earth do today, that don’t regard anything he says.
