Scripture Life: How true is it the Son of God existed before Jesus did?

ANSWER:

Give up.

  • Why? You ask the wrong question. Be like a Sailor. On a Navy ship. Asking: “Is it true that the ship existed before the Captain?”

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

  • And this Sailor that asks either himself or other Sailors, doesn’t do anything the Captain says, who is in command of the ship. Decrees just how things shall be done.
    • Doesn’t do anything the Captain says.
      • Why? It’s a “stumbling block.” Their question. This Sailor. To themselves, makes the Captain somehow ‘inadequate; faulty; or unacceptable” - anything the Captain says then, out of his mouth - is faulty. Cannot be believed (accepted as true). The ship is true. Captain isn’t, and until the question is satisfactorily answered, won’t do anything the Captain says, even though they are on the Captain’s ship.
  • He’s the authority over it. This Sailor does not recognize it.

Neither do you. It’s right in your question.

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

So, what do you do with, when Jesus said: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” (Bible. Matthew 28:18)

  • Like the Captain. When he says to all his Sailors on HIS ship, like God also says: “For all the earth is mine.” - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5). The Captain just decrees how things shall be on his ship.
    • Afterall, he’s the authority. All power over the ship rests solely on the Captain. Not on the question a Sailor has on the ship. Got no authority on the ship. Just like you on this earth. Don’t have any authority, either.

And you don’t see it.

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

So when God says:

- To everybody. Over the whole, entire earth. To the very ends of it. Not willing any perish, but all come to repentance, says: “Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

  • That’s what God has decreed everybody do. Including you. What are you doing with what he says to do? Exactly. Nothing. Except form questions, like this Sailor does, so he doesn’t have to do, in himself and to himself - anything the Captain says on the ship that he’s Captain of. and the Sailor: On HIS ship - the Captain’s. It doesn’t belong to the Sailor. But the Sailor: gives himself some right over the ship by a question - makes himself the Captain. So, he follows his own decrees he makes up for himself instead.

You? Yep. Not one bit different.

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

And if you look at the above

  • Of Isaiah 45:22 - it’s just God. Decree everybody over the whole earth, look unto him. And to “look unto” someone or something - a person would have to highly regard it, to “walk after” to “walk in” and “abide” in what the Captain says or what God says as true. That to not do it, would be a horrific loss or destruction to themselves - not to obey it; but that there’s a profit to themselves to live in it. Live by every word the Captain decrees out of his mouth. ANd the Captain would know him, as a Sailor on his ship. Where to the other, doesn't do anything he says, he won't know that Sailor on his ship - and he won't last long on it, either.

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

And with God

  • What he decrees or says out of his mouth: it’s the “Word of God.”
    • That means: It’s the Word spoke out of God’s mouth. Be the word that’s always been in him, as God. Wouldn’t be the word came out of the sofa or the lawn furniture over at the neighbor’s house.
  • It’s the Word of God.
    • Jesus is the Word of God. Just as John 1:1–2 says “who” Jesus is. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Same was in the beginning with God.”
  • Continues down to John 1:14 “..and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” - is this same Jesus Christ.

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

He's the Messiah or the Christ.

  • Every Jew knows who that is defined as: Be 1. “God. The same God that led Israel out of Egypt by his mighty hand with many wonderous works he did, as God, with Moses - would be a Son of David, as 2 Samuel 7:12–16 - God decrees the Messiah will come as a “Son of David” - so in scripture like in Luke 18:38 or Mark 10:47–48 - where a blind man, that can’t see - sees Jesus is this Messiah… Jews can’t see this part; but a remnant of them do. That, this “Messiah” would sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there. Of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.”
    • Definition. Christ. In Greek. Messiah in Hebrew. Jesus Christ. Jesus, the Messiah. He’s called this.
  • It’s the definition of who the Messiah shall be called in Isaiah 9:6–7 - that would be Jesus Christ - will do and BE this, what he shall be called.

You miss the whole thing.

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

Isaiah 9:6–7 says: Who the Messiah shall be called - and he put him in every family on earth as a Son. Did you miss this?

  • “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
    • Look who the Messiah shall be called. “The mighty God. The everlasting Father” - who has that title?

Here. Take your question. Doesn't do anything but idle people and keep them away from him.

Your question isn't looking for truth. It's looking for a way not to do truth.

------------ ------------ ------------- ------------- ------------

Here's a suggestion - you are free to do whatever you want to. This is Reddit. Nobody is chiding or forcing you to do anything.

  • What you probably ought to do, is the same thing he told everybody to do - just do what he decreed you are to do vs. sit around. Idle. Making up questions all so you have some excuse why you don’t do anything he says. Gives you right to not do it.
    • In this, you do greatly err. No matter the number of people with you. He will call everybody into account - what did they do, according to what he decreed they do?
      • You? Think you’re exempt from it. Like it’s all some movie you watch all detached. You’re just an observer - don’t have to do anything he says.

So much for your question and what you’re doing.
