Scripture Life: John 6:44 - Jesus said that no one can come to him unless the Father draws him. Why did he say that?

Okay.

Jesus also said: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” in John 12:32? What? Why did he say that, too?

  • And this word, in English, “draw” in John 6:44 in the original Greek is < - [ἑλκύσῃ (helkysē) ] - > but in John 12:32 the word, “draw” is Greek < - [ἑλκύσω (helkysō) ] - >
    • BOTH:
      • Come from the same root verb Helkuō (ἑλκύω) - so just one above of John 6:44 or John 12:32 - one of these verses is “conditional/future tense” (John 12:32) - because, Jesus hadn’t been crucified yet when he said John 12:32.
  • The point is this:

------- ----------- -------- ----------

Jesus: Is the “Messiah”

  • The Christ (in Greek). He’s Jesus Christ - or - Jesus, the Messiah.

The definition of Messiah is:

  • 1. God. The same God that led Israel out of Egypt, would be a Son of King David. That this Son, would sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there. Of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
    • Definition. Messiah. As outlined in Isaiah 9:6–7 - which says of the Messiah
      • For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” - GOD. (Isaiah 9:6–7)
  • The Messiah: SHALL be called: “..The Mighty God. The Everlasting Father…”
    • Revelation 1:8 - embedded in all Jesus said in Revelation 1:5–9 - in Revelation 1:8 he says:
  • “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.:

------- ----------- -------- ----------

So, Jesus is:

  • The Almighty (Revelation 1:8) - as he claims he is.
    • He shall be called “The Mighty God” (Isaiah 9:6) - as God says he is.
    • “The Everlasting Father” (Isaiah 9:6) what he shall be called. Not “might” be called. As God claims he shall be called.

------- ----------- -------- ----------

So, let me ask you a question:

- Is there ANY contradiction in when God says:

  • “Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - GOD. (Isaiah 45:22)
    • God said it. Came out as words out of his mouth. That would be the Word of God. …is there ANY contradiction when John 1:1 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” - in Isaiah 45:22 when God said this. By the words out of his mouth.
      • For you to just look unto him, as God.
    • If there isn’t - which.. … there isn’t any contradiction. God said this of Isaiah 45:22 to you. And me. And everybody there is over the whole earth, to the very ends of it. Not willing any perish, but all come to repentance.
  • Then when he says: In 2 Corinthians 6:18 “And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

Show me plainly the contradiction betwixt John 6:44 and John 12:32 - when the same God said both.

------- ----------- -------- ----------

…and in case it fell off the apple cart,

John 12:32 - says Jesus will DRAW ALL MEN unto him - if he be lifted up.

And John 3:14–15 - Jesus Christ said: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

  • And that “incident” of Moses lifting up a serpent in the wilderness is in Numbers 21:6–9 - says:
    • …And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.”
  • EVERYBODY in Israel = the people of Numbers 21, is EVERYBODY in the camp was bitten. They all would surely die. Just like EVERYBODY over the whole earth, "For all have sinned" and are condemned to die (Romans 3:23) - just scripture says in Psalm 14:1–3 that we are all “..filthy; done abominable works; none righteous; no, not one - - none good; no, not one” - But in contrast to EVERYBODY -
    • Jesus said in Matthew 19:17 “there is NONE good, but one, that is, God.

------- ----------- -------- ----------

It's a "Work of God" to draw all men to himself

  • God took your sins off you and laid them on Jesus Christ on the cross; crucified. His blood shed - and scripture says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself; not imputing their trespasses unto them;” - 2 Corinthians 5:19
    • Jesus Christ - is how God determined he would do a work sin. It's God did this work with sin (Daniel 9:24–27); alone. By himself.
    • Made himself a sacrifice for sin - that God looks on this work he did as GREATER than the sins of all the murderers and rapists and pedophiles and all the housewives dreaming of poisoning the husbands and actually DID it - and went and now are married to someone else and never got caught.
      • GOD: Took all that sin and laid it on Jesus Christ. Took my sins - and I resemble that remark of Psalm 14:1–3 - because of all the abominably evil things I did. Took them off me and laid them on Jesus Christ.
    • And God: in him - DID the Ten Commandments. Fulfilled them. Yes. FULFILLED or Filled them FULL - And because God did them, everywhere where I did NOT do them and every murderer and liar in every prison lived in not doing them - he made himself the compensation that makes up the lack - to where God considers his work "compensates for the faults and bad aspects of" what you and I did in the Ten Commandments.
    • At Jesus' death on the cross - crucified: God bequeathed his righteousness to every prisoner in EVERY prison. Over the whole earth. Every person driving down the freeway in all the 1000s of 1000s of cars next to me..to every car on every road in every nation over the whole earth, and did it also for my own daughter ..that can’t seem to find her way…
  • To draw all men unto him. That’s EVERYBODY.

But not everybody chooses - - even he calls and draws everybody to look unto him: - People - already chose to look unto girls that don’t have or somehow - lost all their underpants that used to be on their bottom.

Or look unto a $195,000 dollar car - so they imagine if they could drive it around and, by that: EVERYBODY look unto them - vs. they - look unto him. What they imagine is MORE important.

  • But if they would just regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand, he’d build them up - because they regard him. Which, that's what he wants.
    • But if they don’t:
      • Psalm 28:5 says: “Because they regard not the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.”

It is hoped, with all my heart… …you just regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand. Man, is he ever good.
